Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola asuh permisif orangtua tunggal pada anak remaja yang mengalami kecanduna game online dan dampak negatif kecanduan game online pada remaja di RT 05 dan RT 011 Pancoran Barat, Kelurahan Pancoran, Jakarta Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif serta teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini dengan cara kualitatif yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Subjek penelitian ini adalah enam orangtua tunggal yang memiliki anak remaja dengan kriteria bermain game online dengan intensitas waktu berlebihan setiap harinya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Peneliti menemukan ke enam orangtua tunggal yang memiliki pola asuh permisif. Orangtua memberikan kebebasan kepada anak untuk beraktivitas dan bermain serta lemahnya kontrol orangtua menjadikan anak melakukan hal yang mereka inginkan dengan tanpa adanya aturan. 2) Dampak negatif dari Game online yang peneliti temui dilihat dari berbagai aspek seperti dari aspek kesehatan, aspek psikologis, aspek sosial dan aspek akademis yang berpengaruh terhadap diri remaja seperti insomnia, mata mulai memerah, bartambah mata minesnya, mudah gelisah dan berbohong, malas bergaul dengan lingkungan, nilai akademik menurun. Kata Kunci: Pola asuh, Orangtua Tunggal, remaja yang kecanduan, game online. ********** The research aims to determine the permissive parenting patterns of single parents for teenagers who are addicted to online games and the negative impact of online game addiction on teenagers in RT 05 and RT 011 Pancoran Barat, Pancoran Village, South Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive and the data collection techniques used for this research are qualitative, namely observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The subjects of this research were six single parents who had teenage children with the criteria of playing online games with excessive time intensity every day. The results of this research show that 1) Researchers found that six single parents had permissive parenting styles. Parents give children freedom to do activities and play and weak parental control makes children do what they want without any rules. 2) The negative impact of online games that researchers have found can be seen from various aspects such as health aspects, psychological aspects, social aspects and academic aspects which influence teenagers, such as insomnia, eyes starting to redden, increased eyesight, easily fidgeting and lying, lazy socializing. with the environment, academic grades decrease.
