Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran flashcard green chemistry dan menyelidiki pengaruhnya terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik Kelas X pada topik green chemistry. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 78 peserta didik (laki-laki = 31; perempuan = 47) yang mengikuti pembelajaran kimia di SMA Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu quasi experimental dengan dua kelas terpilih sebagai sampel yang diacak dengan metode dice point untuk mengadministrasikan masing-masing kelas menjadi kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Motivasi belajar peserta didik diketahui dari kuesioner motivasi belajar yang merupakan adaptasi dari Academic Motivation Scale (AMS). Kuesioner terdiri dari 28 pernyataan, diantaranya 12 pernyataan mengenai motivasi intrinsik, 12 pernyataan mengenai motivasi ekstrinsik, dan 4 pernyataan mengenai amotivasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji-t independen dan berpasangan. Hasil dari uji-t menunjukkan bahwa media flashcard green chemistry memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik. Berdasarkan temuan dalam penelitian, indikator “motivasi eksternal” memperoleh peningkatan motivasi belajar dengan nilai terbesar dibandingkan dengan indikator “motivasi intrinsik” dan “amotivasi”. Hal tersebut membuktikan media flashcard green chemistry efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. This research aims to develop green chemistry flashcard learning media and investigate its effect on Class X students' learning motivation on the topic of green chemistry. The sample used was 78 students (male = 31; female = 47) who were studying chemistry at SMA Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat. The research design used was quasi experimental with two classes selected as samples which were randomized using the dice point method to administer each class into an experimental class and a control class. Students' learning motivation is known from the learning motivation questionnaire which is an adaptation of the Academic Motivation Scale (AMS). The questionnaire consists of 28 statements, including 12 statements regarding intrinsic motivation, 12 statements regarding extrinsic motivation, and 4 statements regarding amotivation. Data analysis was carried out using independent and paired t-tests. The results of the t-test show that the green chemistry flashcard media has a positive influence on students' learning motivation. Based on the findings in the research, the indicator “external motivation” obtained the largest increase in learning motivation compared to the indicators “intrinsic motivation” and “amotivation”. This proves that the green chemistry flashcard media is effective in increasing students' learning motivation.
