Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media pembelajaran Chemistry Escape Game terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI pada materi hidrolisis garam. Penelitian dilakukan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2023/2024 di SMA Negeri 88 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperiment dengan desain penelitian Pretest Posttest Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT tanpa menggunakan Chemistry Escape Game, sedangkan kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan media Chemistry Escape Game. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen (85,00) lebih besar dibanding kelas kontrol (67,44). Berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai Sig sebesar 0,000 sehingga dapat disimpulkan 0,000 < 0,05 yang bermakna H0 ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan perhitungan uji Wilcoxon, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran Chemistry Escape Game berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi hidrolisis garam. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Chemistry Escape Game learning media to the learning outcomes of class XI students on salt hydrolysis material. The research was conducted in the even semester of the 2023–2024 academic year at SMA Negeri 88 Jakarta. The research method used was quasi- experimental with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. Purposive sampling was used to obtain the research sample, as the control class, which used TGT cooperative learning model without using the Chemistry Escape Game media, and as the experimental class, which used TGT cooperative learning model with the Chemistry Escape Game media. The results showed that the posttest average of the experimental class (85.00) was greater than that of the control class (67.44). Based on calculations using the Wilcoxon test, the sig value is 0.000, so it can be concluded that 0.000< 0.05 means H0 is rejected. Based on the results of the research and calculations of the Wilcoxon test, it can be concluded that the application of the Chemistry Escape Game learning media has a positive effect on student learning outcomes on the topic of salt hydrolysis material.
