Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh toxic parents terhadap perilaku self- harm pada remaja. Adapun subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMP Negeri 33 Jakarta dengan usia 12-16 tahun yang pernah melakukan perilaku self-harm. Teknik pengambilan data yaitu simple random sampling dengan jumlah 105 responden. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil uji persamaan regresi linear diperoleh t hitung = 5,100 > 1,986 dan p-value = 0,000 = < 0,05. Hal ini menjelaskan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara toxic parents terhadap perilaku self-harm. Artinya, semakin tinggi tingkat toxic parents, maka semakin meningkatkan perilaku self-harm pada remaja. Sebaliknya semakin rendah tingkat toxic parents, maka semakin rendah pula perilaku self-harm pada remaja. Toxic parents memberikan kontribusi sebesar 20,2% terhadap perilaku self-harm dan selebihnya 79,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of toxic parents on self-harm behaviour in adolescents. The subjects of this study were students of SMP Negeri 33 Jakarta aged 12-16 years who had committed self-harm behaviour. The data collection technique is simple random sampling with a total of 105 respondents. Data analysis using simple linear regression. The results of the linear regression equation test obtained t hitung = 5.100> 1.986 and p-value = 0.000 = <0.05. This explains that there is a positive influence between toxic parents on self-harm behaviour. This means that the higher the level of toxic parents, the more self- harm behaviour in adolescents increases. Conversely, the lower the level of toxic parents, the lower the self-harm behaviour in adolescents. Toxic parents contribute 20.2% to self-harm behaviour and the remaining 79.8% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
