Abstract

Keterampilan proses sains merupakan keterampilan yang dimiliki peserta didik untuk menerapkan metode ilmiah guna menemukan, memahami dan mengembangkan pengetahuannya. Kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan model project based learning yang dipadukan dengan pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam mengumpulkan informasi, melakukan penyelidikan hingga mengkomunikasikan hasil penyelidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan menganalisis keterampilan proses sains peserta didik pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design dengan nonequivalent control group design yang dilakukan terhadap 33 sampel peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata keterampilan proses sains yang diperoleh peserta didik setelah dilaksanakannya pembelajaran adalah sebesar 81.88, yang menunjukan bahwa keterampilan proses sains peserta didik berada dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model project based learning dengan pendekatan saintifik dapat mempengaruhi keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. ***** Science process skills are skills that students have to apply the scientific method to find, understand and develop their knowledge. Learning activities using the project based learning model combined with a scientific approach can improve students' ability to gather information, conduct investigations, and communicate the results of investigations. This study aims to measure and analyze the science process skills of students on the material of environmental change. The research method used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design conducted on 33 student samples in the experimental class and control class. The results showed that the average value of the science process skills obtained by students after the learning was 81.88, which indicates that the students' science process skills were in the very high category. So it can be concluded that the project based learning model with a scientific approach can influence students' science process skills.
