Abstract

ANTINAH. Pengembangan Game Digital Edukasi Fisika Pada Materi Termodinamika untuk Siswa. Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Juli 2024. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh anggapan peserta didik tentang kesulitan dalam mempelajari fisika pada materi termodinamika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan game digital edukasi fisika pada materi termodinamika sebagai media pembelajaran pendukung untuk peserta didik SMA yang layak digunakan. Metode penelitian ini Research and Deveolpment (R&D) menggunakan pendekatan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Dalam pengembangannya, digunakan software Articulate Storyline 3 untuk menciptakan dan mengembangkan sebuah game edukasi yang mengusung konsep Adventure Game, dimana pemain menjalani petualangan dan menyelesaikan tantangan di setiap misi yang mengedukasi seputar fisika proses termodinamika. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil kelayakan materi sebesar 66,67%, hasil kelayakan media sebesar 93,75%, dan hasil kelayakan perangkat lunak sebesar 90,63% dengan interpretasi sangat layak. Kemudian produk diuji coba penggunaan kepada guru fisika dan peserta didik. Uji coba penggunaan oleh guru fisika memperoleh hasil 91,67% dan uji coba penggunaan kepada peserta didik sebesar 88,81% dengan interpretasi sangat baik dalam menggunakan game edukasi. Oleh karena itu, berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan kepada para ahli, game edukasi pada materi termodinamika sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran fisika. This research is motivated by the assumption of students about the difficulty in learning physics on thermodynamic material. This research aims to produce physics educational digital games on thermodynamic material as a supporting learning media for high school students who are feasible to use. This research method is Research and Deveolpment (R&D) using the ADDIE approach (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). In its development, Articulate Storyline 3 software is used to create and develop an educational game that carries the Adventure Game concept, where players undergo adventures and complete challenges in each mission that educates about the physics of the thermodynamic process. This research obtained material feasibility results of 66.67%, media feasibility results of 93.75%, and software feasibility results of 90.63% with a very feasible interpretation. Then the product was tested for use to physics teachers and students. The trial use by physics teachers obtained a result of 91.67% and the trial use to students amounted to 88.81% with a very good interpretation in using educational games. Therefore, based on the results of the feasibility test to experts, educational games on thermodynamic material are very feasible to use as a medium to support physics learning.
