Abstract
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendektan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep interaksi simbolik dengan teori Self, Mind, Society yang dipaparkan oleh Mead. Mead menjelaskan bahwa makna terbentuk atas negosiasi individu terhadap simbol yang diterimanya. Individu memaknai simbol tersebut berdasarkan proses negosiasi atas tiga aspek diatas yaitu, Self, Mind dan Society. Data yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi, serta wawancara mendalam dengan subjek penelitian yaitu Sembilan pengikut akun Shift Pemuda Hijrah. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan media digital terutama Instagram, pada bulan Juni sampai bulan November tahun 2020. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dakwah online dalam kegiataanya pada ranah modern memberikan konstruksi makna baru guna menjawab kebutuhan keagamaan umat. Makna yang terbentuk terhadap kegiatan dakwah, muncul dari hasil negosiasi individu terhadap dirinya berdasarkan tiga aspek yaitu, Mind, Self, dan Society. Ketiga aspek penentu dalam terbentuknya makna dakwah diartikan berbeda oleh tiap-tiap individu, tergantung peran yang individu ambil dalam proses pemaknaanya. Individu akan memberikan respon berupa tindakan sebagai hasil pemkanaanya terhadap dakwah online. Tindakan yang dihasilkan individu akan memberikan dampak kepada diri mereka, maupun lingkungan sekitarnya, baik itu secara digital maupun pada dunia nyata. **************************************** This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. This study uses the concept of symbolic interaction with the theory of Self, Mind, and Society presented by Mead. Mead explains that meaning is formed by an individual's negotiation of the symbols they receive. Individuals interpret these symbols based on the negotiation process on the three aspects mentioned above, namely, Self, Mind, and Society. The data contained in this study was obtained through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with the research subjects, namely the nine followers of the Shift Pemuda Hijrah account. This research was conducted using digital media, especially Instagram, from June to November 2020. This research shows that online da'wah in its activities in the modern realm provides new meaning constructions to answer the religious needs of the people. The meaning that is formed by da'wah activities emerges from the results of individual negotiations with him based on three aspects, namely, mind, self, and society. The three determining aspects in the formation of the meaning of da'wah are interpreted differently by each individual, depending on the role that the individual takes in the process of meaning. Individuals will respond in the form of actions as a result of their understanding of online da'wah. The actions that individuals produce will have an impact. They impact on themselves as well as the surrounding environment, both digitally and in the real world.
