Abstract

Lutung jawa merupakan primata endemik di Indonesia yang memiliki peran ekologis dalam mempengaruhi pola regenerasi hutan dan keragaman jenis pohon di habitatnya. Kelestarian primata ini terancam oleh berbagai hal. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan upaya untuk menjaga kelestarian Lutung jawa yaitu dengan memperbaiki kualitas sikap konservasi masyarakat terdapat Lutung jawa. Hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan pemberian informasi terkait peran penting dari primata ini kepada siswa sebagai penerus generasi kedepannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Program Save Muaragembong terhadap Sikap Konservasi Siswa Mengenai Lutung jawa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTs Nurul Ihsan pada bulan Oktober - Desember 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experiment. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 120 peserta didik dengan masing-masing kelas kontrol dan eksperimen sebanyak 60 peserta didik meggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan tes Sikap Konservasi Siswa. Analisis uji prasyarat data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dan hasilnya menyatakan bahwa Program Save Muaragembong berpengaruh terhadap Sikap Konservasi Siswa terhadap Lutung jawa. Penerapan Program Save Muaragembong dapat dijadikan sebagai rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan Sikap Konservasi Siswa. ********************************************************** Javan langurs are endemic primates in Indonesia that have an ecological role in influencing the pattern of forest regeneration and the diversity of tree species in their habitat. However, the preservation of these primates is threatened by various things. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to preserve the Javan Lutung, namely by improving the quality of the conservation attitude of the community where Javan Lutung lives. This can be done by providing information regarding the important role of these primates to students as the successors of future generations. This study aims to determine the effect of the Save Muaragembong Program on Student Conservation Attitudes regarding Javan Langurs. This research was conducted at MTs Nurul Ihsan in October - December 2019. This study used a quasi-experimental method. The sample used was 120 students with each control and experimental class of 60 students using simple random sampling technique. The data collection tool used the Student Conservation Attitude test. Analysis of prerequisite test data is normally distributed and homogeneous. Hypothesis testing using t-test and the results indicate that the Save Muaragembong Program has an effect on students' conservation attitudes towards Javan langurs. The application of the Save Muaragembong Program can be used as a recommendation to improve student conservation attitudes.
