Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi Laju Reaksi berbasis lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 109 Jakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022 dengan subjek penelitian terdiri dari 35 siswa kelas XI MIPA. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam bentuk soal uraian. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang telah dilakukan perolehan persentase setiap indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis yaitu memberikan penjelasan sederhana (68,57%), menentukan dasar pengambilan keputusan (56,71%), memberikan penjelasan lanjut (56,42%), menarik kesimpulan (52,85%), dan taktik dan strategi (46,42%). Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa pencapaian kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa secara keseluruhan termasuk dalam kategori cukup kritis pada materi laju reaksi berbasis lingkungan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning yang membuat siswa menjadi lebih aktif dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran secara online sehingga mampu untuk mengembangkan proses berpikir secara kritis. ************************************************************ This study aims to analyze students' critical thinking skills with Problem Based Learning models on environmental-based reaction rate material. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 109 Jakarta in the academic year 2021/2022 with research subjects consisting of 35 students of XI MIPA class. The method used in this study descriptive quantitative. The instrument used is a test of critical thinking skills in the form of description questions. The data obtained then were analyzed descriptively. The results of analyzing the data showed, based on the data of critical thinking ability test, the percentage of each critical thinking ability indicator is to provides a simple explanation (68.57%), determines the basis for decision making (56.71%), provides a further explanation (56.42 %), draws a conclusion (52.85%), and tactics and strategy (46.42%). In conclusion, the achievement of students' critical thinking skills included in the category of critical enough in the environmental-based reaction rate material by applying the Problem Based Learning models makes students more active participating in online learning activities so that they are able to develop thinking processes criti-cally.
