Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara efikasi diri dan dukungan sosial dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 1 Cibadak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 165 siswa kelas IX. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan tiga instrumen penelitian, yaitu instrumen Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) yang merupakan hasil adaptasi dari Ramadanti (2021), sedangkan instrumen General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) dan instrumen Procrastination Assessment Scale-Student (PASS) diadaptasi oleh peneliti. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan semua butir valid. Uji reliabilitas pada GSES sebesar 0.720, MSPSS sebesar 0.864 dan pada PASS sebesar 0,902. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara efikasi diri dan dukungan sosial dengan prokrastinasi akademik, hal ini menjelaskan bahwa efikasi diri dan dukungan sosial tidak terbukti sebagai faktor yang mempengaruhi prokrastinasi akademik. ************** This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy and social support with academic procrastination in grade IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Cibadak. This research uses correlation method with quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were 165 students of class IX. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. The data collection tool uses three research instruments, namely the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) instrument which has been adapted by Ramadanti (2021), while the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) instrument and the Procrastination Assessment Scale-Student (PASS) instrument have been adapted by researchers. The results of the validity test show that all items are valid. The reliability test on the GSES is 0.720, the MSPSS is 0.864 and the PASS is 0.902. The results showed that there was no relationship between self-efficacy and social support with academic procrastination, this explains that self-efficacy and social support are not proven as factors that affect academic procrastination.
