Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis game edukasi snake and ladder pada materi stoikiometri, dan mengetahui kelayakannya sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi stoikiometri. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelas X SMAN 4 Bekasi pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Media pembelajaran berbasis game edukasi snake and ladder ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research & Development) yang mengacu kepada model pengembangan ADDIE, yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa 97,22% siswa dan seluruh guru merasa perlu adanya pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis game edukasi snake and ladder pada materi stoikiometri. Pada tahap design dilakukan perancangan isi media pembelajaran, pembuatan storyboard, pembuatan desain konten media pembelajaran, dan penyusunan materi. Pada tahap pengembangan dihasilkan media pembelajaran berupa aplikasi game berbasis android berukuran 53,15 MB dan diberi nama “Stoichiometric Snake and Ladder Game”. Hasil uji validasi oleh ahli media memperoleh persentase sebesar 89% dengan kriteria sangat baik sedangkan hasil uji validasi oleh ahli materi dan bahasa memperoleh persentase sebesar 88% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Pada tahap implementasi didapatkan hasil implementasi pada skala kecil dan skala besar masing-masing memperoleh persentase sebesar 83% dan 90% dengan kriteria sangat baik, sementara hasil implementasi pada guru memperoleh persentase sebesar 94% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Apabila masih terdapat kesalahan atau kekukarangan maka dilakukan revisi pada tahap evaluasi untuk menyempurnakan media pembelajaran berbasis game edukasi snake and ladder. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis game edukasi snake and ladder yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran. ***************************************** This study aims to develop learning media based on snake and ladder educational games on stoichiometry material, and determine its feasibility as learning media on stoichiometry material. This research was carried out in 10th grade of SMAN 4 Bekasi in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. This snake and ladder educational game-based learning media was developed using the Research & Development method which refers to the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The results of the needs analysis showed that 97.22% of students and teachers felt the need to develop learning media based on snake and ladder educational games on stoichiometric material. At the design stage, the design of learning media content is carried out, storyboard creation, design of learning media content, and preparation of material is carried out. At the development stage, learning media was produced in the form of an android-based game application measuring 53.15 MB and named "Stoichiometric Snake and Ladder Game". The results of the validation test by media experts obtained a percentage of 89% with very good criteria, while the results of the validation test by material and language experts obtained a percentage of 88% with very good criteria. At the implementation stage, the results of the implementation on a small scale and large scale each obtained a percentage of 83% and 90% with very good criteria, while the results of the implementation on teachers obtained a percentage of 94% with very good criteria. If there are still errors or shortcomings, a revision is made at the evaluation stage to improve learning media based on the snake and ladder educational game. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the snake and ladder educational game-based learning media that was developed is feasible to be used as one of the learning media.
