Abstract

Ikan koi merupakan salah satu ikan hias unggulan dan memiliki tingkat perdagangan yang tinggi. Upaya meningkatkan budidaya ikan koi yang berkualitas, dapat dilakukan dengan penambahan sumber protein alami pada pakan. Sumber protein alami seperti krustasea dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan koi, krustasea yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pakan tambahan yaitu yutuk (Emerita sp.) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tepung yutuk terhadap pertumbuhan ikan koi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Balai Riset Budidaya Ikan Hias (BRBIH), Depok. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), menggunakan variabel bebas yaitu dosis tepung yutuk 0%, 5%, 10%, dan 15%. Data yang diambil berupa pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak, dan total penggunaan pakan. Data dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan ANOVA satu arah dengan α<0,05 dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji BNT (Fisher’s LSD test). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penambahan tepung yutuk dalam pakan berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ikan koi. Penambahan 15% tepung yutuk memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik dan nilai efisiensi pakan terbaik. *************************************** Koi fish is one of the leading ornamental fish and has a high level of trade. Efforts to increase the quality of koi fish cultivation can be done by adding natural protein sources to the feed. Natural protein sources such as crustaceans can increase the growth of koi fish, crustaceans that can be used as an additional feed ingredient is sand crab (Emerita sp.). This research aimed to determine the effect of sand crab flour on growth of koi fish. This research was conducted at the Balai Riset Budidaya Ikan Hias (BRBIH), Depok. The method was used an experimental design with Completely Randomized Design, and the independent variables were 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% sand crab flour. The data taken were absolute length growth, absolute weight growth, and total feed used. The data were statistically analyzed using one-way ANOVA with α<0.05 and continued with the BNT test (Fisher's LSD test). The results of this study indicated that the addition of sand crab flour in feed affects the growth of koi fish. The addition of 15% sand crab flour gave the best growth and the best feed efficiency value.
