Abstract
Pengembangan permainan dakon menjadi media digital android berbasis budaya Sunda merupakan upaya penciptaan solusi atas persoalan pengenalan literasi sains pada anak usia dini di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan permainan dakon menjadi permainan berbasis media digital android untuk meningkatkan literasi sains pada anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah RnD. Pada uji kelayakan, partisipan penelitian ini adalah 7 ahli yang berkompeten di bidangnya masing-masing, seperti ahli media perangkat lunak, materi PAUD, dan ahli praktisi PAUD. Pada uji efektivitas, sampel penelitian melibatkan 111 orang anak yang terbagi menjadi 16 orang anak pada uji coba terbatas, 59 orang anak pada uji coba skala besar, dan 16 anak pada uji lapangan operasional, serta melibatkan 7 orang guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan diketahui bahwa penguasaan anak terhadap literasi sains semakin meningkat dengan adanya media permainan berbasis aplikasi digital android untuk anak usai dini; (2) proses pengembangan media permainan menggunakan model Borg & Gall yang dikombinasi dengan pengembangan model ADDIE yang direkontruksi dalam model konseptual, model prosedural dan model fisikal pada akhirnya menghasilkan nilai kebaruan ; (3) permainan Smartda layak untuk diterapkan dalam kemampuan meningkatkan literasi sains anak usia dini; (4) model permainan Smartda cukup efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan literasi sains pada anak usia dini. Melalui permainan Smartda yang inovatif, maka strategi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan lierasi sains anak semakin meningkat, hal ini berdampak pada kemampuan aspek perkembangan pada anak udia dini semakin optimal. Kata Kunci: Literasi Sains,Budaya Sunda, Media Digital Android, Anak Usia Dini ***** The development of dakon game into a digital android media based on Sundanese Culture is an effort to create a solution to the problem of introducing science literacy to early childhood in West Java Province. The purpose of this study is to develop dakon game into a digital android media-based game to improve science literacy in early childhood. The research method used is RnD. In the feasibility test, the participants of this study were 7 experts who were competent in their respective fields, such as software media experts, PAUD materials, and PAUD practitioner experts. In the effectiveness test, the research sample involved 111 children who were divided into 16 children in a limited trial, 59 children in a large-scale trial, and 16 children in an operational field test, and involved 7 teachers. The results of the study showed: 1) based on the needs analysis, it is known that children's mastery of science literacy has increased with the existence of digital android application-based game media for early childhood; 2) the process of developing game media using the Borg & Gall model combined with the development of the ADDIE model which was reconstructed in a conceptual model, procedural model and physical model ultimately produced a novelty value; 3) Smartda games are feasible to be applied in the ability to improve early childhood science literacy; 4) the Smartda game model is quite effective in improving science literacy in early childhood. With the innovative Smartda game model, the strategy to improve children's science literacy skills is increasing, this has an impact on the ability of developmental aspects in early childhood to optimal.
