Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan pengembangan buku panduan konseling individual berbasis Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) untuk mereduksi kecemasan berbicara di depan umum pada peserta didik SMA Pondok Pesantren Al-Furqon, Sukabumi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) profil kecemasan berbicara di depan umum pada peserta didik tingkat SMA di Pondok Pesantren Al-Furqon dan (2) rumusan buku panduan konseling individual berbasis CBT yang efektif untuk mereduksi kecemasan berbicara di depan umum pada peserta didik tingkat SMA di pondok pesantren Al-Furqon. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode Design Based Research (DBR) yang merupakan desain yang sistematis dalam merancang, mengembangkan, dan mengevaluasi intervensi pendidikan. Hasil asesmen menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat 50% peserta didik memiliki kecemasan rendah; 40% peserta didik memiliki kecemasan sedang, dan 10% peserta didik mengalami kecemasan tinggi; dan (2) buku panduan konseling berbasis CBT untuk mengatasi kecemasan berbicara di depan umum disusun dengan 12 sesi dengan kriteria (a) penilaian ‘layak’ digunakan dari ahli materi dengan skor rata-rata 4,14 dan (b) penilaian ‘sangat layak’ dari pengguna skor 4,35 dari aspek keterbacaannya. Kata Kunci: pengembangan buku panduan, CBT, kecemasan berbicara di depan umum ******* The research conducted was the development of a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)-based individual counseling guidebook to reduce public speaking anxiety in high school students at Al-Furqon Islamic Boarding School, Sukabumi. The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the profile of public speaking anxiety in high school students at Al-Furqon Islamic Boarding School and (2) the formulation of an effective CBT-based individual counseling guidebook to reduce public speaking anxiety in high school students at Al-Furqon Islamic Boarding School. The research design uses the Design Based Research (DBR) method which is a systematic design in designing, developing, and evaluating educational interventions. The assessment results showed that (1) there were 50% of learners had low anxiety; 40% of learners had moderate anxiety, and 10% of learners experienced high anxiety; and (2) a CBT-based counseling guidebook to overcome public speaking anxiety was prepared with 12 sessions with criteria (a) 'feasible' assessment of use from material experts with an average score of 4.14 and (b) 'very feasible' assessment from users with a score of 4.35 from the aspect of readability.
