Abstract

Berdasarkan data kejadian kecelakaan kerja menurut kementerian ketenagakerjaan yang terus meningkat setiap tahun. Itu berarti kecelakaan kerja dapat terjadi dimana saja termasuk perguruan tinggi terutama dalam kegiatan praktikum. Kecelakaan pada saat praktikum sering disebabkan oleh penggunaan mesin-mesin dengan tingkat risiko yang tinggi dan juga kelalaian mahasiswa dalam menerapkan standar operasional yang baik pada saat praktikum, contohnya seperti praktikum mesin lanjut yang menggunakan mesin-mesin seperti mesin bubut, frais, dan bor. Maka dari itu, diperlukan upaya untuk mencegah dan mengurangi kecelakaan serta memberikan kesempatan atau cara untuk menyelamatkan diri pada waktu terjadi kecelakaan kerja atau kejadian lain yang berbahaya. Seluruh aspek harus berpartisipasi dalam mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan kerja dalam praktikum mulai dari mahasiswa, laboran, dan dosen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap terjadinya kecelakaan kerja pada mahasiswa yang mengikuti mata kuliah Praktik Mesin Lanjut di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Dengan menggunakan metode Fault Tree Analysis, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengungkap akar penyebab kecelakaan kerja serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan keselamatan kerja di lingkungan laboratorium. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi institusi pendidikan, khususnya perguruan tinggi teknik, dalam upaya menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman bagi mahasiswa. Kata Kunci : Kecelakaan Kerja, Risiko, Praktik Mesin Lanjut, Fault Tree Analysis ************************************************************ Based on data on the incidence of work accidents according to the Ministry of Manpower, which continues to increase every year. That means work accidents can occur anywhere including universities, especially in practicum activities. Accidents during practicum are often caused by the use of machines with a high level of risk and also student negligence in applying good operational standards during practicum, for example, such as advanced machine practicum using machines such as lathes, milling, and drilling machines. Therefore, efforts are needed to prevent and reduce accidents and provide opportunities or ways to save themselves when work accidents or other dangerous events occur. All aspects must participate in preventing work accidents in practicum starting from students, laboratory assistants, and lecturers. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that contribute to the occurrence of work accidents in students who take Advanced Machine Practice courses at the State University of Jakarta. By using the Fault Tree Analysis method, this research is expected to reveal the root causes of work accidents and provide recommendations to improve work safety in the laboratory environment. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for educational institutions, especially technical colleges, in an effort to create a safe learning environment.
