Abstract

Menurut laporan Badan Penyelenggaraan Jaminan Sosial (BPJS) Ketenagakerjaan, jumlah kecelakaan kerja meningkat dari 221.740 kasus pada tahun 2020 menjadi 265.334 kasus pada tahun 2022. Kecelakaan kerja dapat terjadi di berbagai lokasi, termasuk perguruan tinggi negeri, khususnya saat kegiatan praktikum. Maka perlu dilakukan analisis risiko kecelakaan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis risiko serta biaya kecelakaan kerja pada Praktik Kerja Bangku dan Plat di Laboratorium Produksi Universitas Negeri Jakarta, menggunakan metode Hazard and Operability (HAZOP). Praktik ini melibatkan berbagai aktivitas seperti mengukur, memotong, mengikir, memahat, dan mengebor, yang berpotensi menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja, seperti jari terpotong, paparan serpihan material, dan kebisingan mesin. Kurangnya pemahaman tentang keselamatan kerja di kalangan mahasiswa menjadi faktor utama terjadinya kecelakaan. Hasil penelitian pada Semester 120 menunjukkan adanya 17 temuan bahaya, dengan 41 dampak risiko rendah dan 5 dampak risiko sedang. Sumber bahaya terbesar berasal dari serpihan material, disusul oleh mesin, area kerja yang sempit, serta peralatan seperti mistar baja, penggores lancip, dan palu. Biaya penanganan kecelakaan kerja menunjukkan bahwa penanganan luka terbuka akibat penggores lancip memerlukan biaya tertinggi sebesar Rp120.000, sedangkan penanganan dampak bersin dan batuk akibat terhirup serpihan material memerlukan biaya terendah sebesar Rp25.367. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran tentang risiko dan biaya kecelakaan kerja, serta perlunya upaya pengendalian yang lebih efektif. ***** According to a report by the Social Security Administration (BPJS) of Employment, the number of work accidents increased from 221,740 cases in 2020 to 265,334 cases in 2022. Work accidents can occur in various locations, including public universities, especially during practicum activities. So it is necessary to analyze the risk of work accidents. This study aims to identify and analyze the risks and costs of work accidents in Bench and Plate Work Practices at the Jakarta State University Production Laboratory, using the Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) method. This practice involves various activities such as measuring, cutting, filing, chiseling, and drilling, which have the potential to cause work accidents, such as cut fingers, exposure to material debris, and machine noise. Lack of understanding about work safety among students is a major factor in the occurrence of accidents. The results of the research in Semester 120 showed 17 hazard findings, with 41 low risk impacts and 5 moderate risk impacts. The largest source of hazards came from debris, followed by machinery, narrow work areas, and tools such as steel rulers, sharp scrapers, and hammers. The cost of handling work accidents shows that handling open wounds caused by sharp scrapers requires the highest cost of Rp120,000, while handling the impact of sneezing and coughing due to inhalation of material debris requires the lowest cost of Rp25,367. This study provides an overview of the risks and costs of work accidents, as well as the need for more effective control efforts.
