Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi dan proses penguatan karakter peduli sosial di Komunitas Semut Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Untuk data primer diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh melalui dokumentasi berupa foto, video, catatan lapangan dan dokumen terkait. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 orang anggota dan 1 orang ketua. Key Informan pada penelitan ini adalah pembina Komunitas Semut Tangerang Selatan. Expert Opinion dalam penelitian ini adalah Dosen Program Studi PPKn UNJ. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil temuan ini menunjukan adanya strategi yang dilakukan Komunitas Semut dalam menguatkan karakter peduli sosial generasi muda yaitu perumusan strategi, implementasi strategi, dan evaluasi strategi. Kemudian strategi tersebut terdapat proses penguatan karakter peduli sosial yang dilakukan membentuk lingkungan positif dan kondusif, pemberian model dan pemanfaatan media sosial, serta pemberian tanggung jawab untuk mengelola kegiatan sosial. Dari proses yang dilakukan, terjadi penguatan karakter peduli sosial pada anggota muda yang ditandai dengan seringnya mengikuti kegiatan sosial, menolong siapapun meskipun tidak mengenal satu sama lain, menghargai pendapat orang lain, menghargai perbedaan suku, agama, ras dan menganggap perbedaan adalah hal biasa, dan tidak mengharapkan imbalan ketika membantu orang lain. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Komunitas Semut Tangerang Selatan memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam menguatkan karakter peduli sosial pada generasi muda. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menggaris bawahi pentingnya perencanaan program yang matang dan metode penguatan yang tepat untuk menguatkan karakter peduli sosial pada generasi muda ***** This research aims to find out how the strategy and process of strengthening the character of social care in the South Tangerang Ant Community. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Primary data was obtained through observation and interviews, while secondary data was obtained through documentation in the form of photos, videos, field notes and related documents. The informants in this study consisted of 3 members and 1 chairman. The Key Informant in this research is the coach of the South Tangerang Ant Community. Expert Opinion in this research is Lecturer of Civics Study Program UNJ. Data analysis techniques used in this research are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of these findings show that there are strategies carried out by the Ant Community in strengthening the social care character of the younger generation, namely strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and strategy evaluation. Then the strategy has a process of strengthening the character of social care by forming a positive and conducive environment, providing models and utilizing social media, and giving responsibility for managing social activities. From the process carried out, there is a strengthening of social care character in young members which is characterized by frequent participation in social activities, helping anyone even though they do not know each other, respecting other people's opinions, respecting differences in ethnicity, religion, race and considering differences as normal, and not expecting rewards when helping others. The conclusion of this study is that the South Tangerang Ant Community has a very important role in strengthening the character of social care in the younger generation. The implications of this study underline the importance of careful program planning and appropriate reinforcement methods to strengthen the character of social care in the younger generation.
