Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kemampuan manajerial, kinerja lingkungan, dan dewan komisaris terhadap pengungkapan emisi karbon. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan tahunan, laporan keberlanjutan, serta Refinitiv Eikon, yang diakses melalui situs www.idx.com maupun situs resmi perusahaan. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari perusahaan sektor perindustrian, basic materials, infrastruktur, energi, transportasi dan logistik yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2021-2023. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode regresi data panel dengan perangkat lunak EViews 12. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan manajerial dan dewan komisaris tidak berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan emisi karbon. Sebaliknya, kinerja lingkungan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap tingkat pengungkapan emisi karbon, yang mengindikasikan bahwa perusahaan dengan kinerja lingkungan yang lebih baik cenderung lebih transparan dalam mengungkapkan emisi karbonnya. *****This study aims to analyze the influence of managerial ability, environmental performance, and board of commissioners on carbon emission disclosure. The approach used is quantitative by utilizing secondary data obtained from annual reports, sustainability reports, and Refinitiv Eikon, which are accessed through the company's www.idx.com website and official website. The population of this study consists of companies in the industrial, basic materials, infrastructure, energy, transportation, and logistics sectors listed on the IDX for the 2021-2023 period. The data was analyzed using the panel data regression method with EViews 12 software. The results of the study show that the managerial ability and the board of commissioners have no effect on carbon emission disclosure. In contrast, environmental performance has a positive influence on the level of carbon emission disclosure, indicating that companies with better environmental performance tend to be more transparent in disclosing their carbon emissions.
