Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Imaginative Outdoor Play dalam pembelajaran STEAM serta pengaruhnya terhadap perkembangan kreativitas anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia dini berusia 5-6 tahun yang bersekolah di RA Yasshofi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama enam hari dengan tiga tema utama, yaitu Taman Mini Petani Cilik, Pasar Rakyat, dan Dapur Kreatif. Pada tema pertama, Taman Mini Petani Cilik, anak-anak berimajinasi menjadi petani, yang mengacu pada konsep science. Perkembangan kreativitas yang muncul meliputi kelancaran berpikir dan elaborasi. Tema kedua, Pasar Rakyat, menghadirkan pengalaman anak sebagai penjual dan pembeli yang berfokus pada konsep math. Kreativitas yang berkembang dalam tema ini meliputi kelancaran berpikir, keinginan berpikir, dan elaborasi. Tema ketiga, Dapur Kreatif, memberikan kesempatan bagi anak-anak untuk berimajinasi sebagai koki, yang mencakup konsep technology dalam STEAM. Perkembangan kreativitas yang diamati dalam kegiatan ini meliputi keinginan berpikir, keaslian ide, dan elaborasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Imaginative Outdoor Play dalam pembelajaran STEAM mampu merangsang kreativitas anak usia dini dengan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir lancar, orisinalitas ide, keinginan berpikir, dan elaborasi dalam berbagai konteks bermain. Dengan demikian, pendekatan ini dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam pendidikan anak usia dini untuk mengembangkan aspek kognitif dan kreativitas melalui pengalaman bermain yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. Kata Kunci: Imaginative Outdoor Play, STEAM, kreativitas anak usia dini.   This study aims to analyze the implementation of Imaginative Outdoor Play in STEAM learning and its impact on the creativity development of early childhood children. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The research subjects are early childhood children aged 5-6 years who attend RA Yasshofi. This study was conducted over six days with three main themes: Mini Farmer’s Garden, Traditional Market, and Creative Kitchen. In the first theme, Mini Farmer’s Garden, children imagine themselves as farmers, referring to the concept of science. The observed creativity developments include fluency in thinking and elaboration. The second theme, Traditional Market, provides children with the experience of being sellers and buyers, focusing on the concept of math. The creativity aspects developed in this theme include fluency in thinking, willingness to think, and elaboration. The third theme, Creative Kitchen, allows children to imagine themselves as chefs, incorporating the technology concept in STEAM. The creativity developments observed in this activity include willingness to think, originality of ideas, and elaboration. The research results show that the implementation of Imaginative Outdoor Play in STEAM learning can stimulate early childhood creativity by enhancing fluency in thinking, originality of ideas, willingness to think, and elaboration in various play contexts. Thus, this approach can be an effective strategy in early childhood education to develop cognitive and creative aspects through enjoyable and meaningful play experiences.
