Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh inklusi keuangan, biaya operasional, inovasi, skala usaha, dan karakteristik kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Indonesia. UMKM memiliki peran strategis dalam perekonomian Indonesia, namun kinerjanya kerap kali terhambat oleh akses keuangan yang terbatas, tingginya biaya operasional, dan kurangnya inovasi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS), penelitian ini mengevaluasi pengaruh lima variabel independen terhadap kinerja UMKM yang diukur berdasarkan perspektif keuangan. Sampel yang digunakan melibatkan 310 pelaku UMKM di Indonesia yang dipilih melalui tabel Krejcie dan Morgan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inklusi keuangan, biaya operasional, inovasi, skala usaha, dan karakteristik kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan panduan bagi pemerintah dalam menetapkan kebijakan yang mendukung pengembangan UMKM, serta menjadi referensi bagi akademisi dan praktisi untuk memahami faktor-faktor penentu kinerja UMKM. ***** This study aims to analyze the impact of financial inclusion, operating costs, innovation, business scale, and entrepreneurial characteristics on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. MSMEs play a strategic role in the Indonesian economy; however, their performance is often hindered by limited financial access, high operating costs, and a lack of innovation. Using a quantitative approach and the Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method, this research evaluates the influence of five independent variables on MSME performance, measured from a financial perspective. The sample includes 310 MSME participants in Indonesia, selected through the Krejcie and Morgan table. The findings show that financial inclusion, operating costs, innovation, business scale, and entrepreneurial characteristics have a significant positive effect on MSME performance. This study is expected to provide guidance to the government in formulating policies that support MSME development, as well as serve as a reference for academics and practitioners to understand the determinants of MSME performance.
