In 2023, the prevalence of drug abuse in Indonesia reached 1.73%, equivalent to approximately 3.3 million people. This alarming figure is predominantly observed among adolescents. The situation becomes even more precarious for this age group when parental care is inadequate, particularly concerning parental presence in their lives. Indramayu, in recent years, has emerged as the largest source of migrant workers compared to other regions in Indonesia. This trend warrants attention due to the vulnerability arising from the absence of parents in the lives of children and adolescents in Indramayu.Preventing drug abuse necessitates fundamental interventions, and family involvement plays a crucial role. Parental guidance and warm family interactions have a positive impact on a child’s development, helping them build resilience against drug abuse. One effective intervention is the “Anti-Drug Family Resilience” program, which has demonstrated long-term positive effects on parental caregiving abilities and children’s resilience. Expanding the use of this intervention is essential. Training teachers to implement the “Anti-Drug Family Resilience” module provides a significant opportunity for wider dissemination. Evaluation results indicate that teachers can comprehend the module’s content, understand its implementation, and exhibit adequate facilitation skills. Teachers are optimistic that this program can be successfully implemented in schools to provide drug abuse prevention interventions for both parents and students.
