Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kebijakan pemerintah dan pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap intensi berwirausaha di kalangan pesantren di Indonesia, dengan literasi ekonomi sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap pesantren penerima program Kemandirian Pesantren dari Kementerian Agama RI tahun 2021-2023 di seluruh Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner sebanyak 340 sampel dari populasi 2.076 pesantren. Data dianalisis menggunakan Smart-PLS 4.0 dengan teknik analisis data outer model dan inner model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik kebijakan pemerintah maupun pendidikan kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap intensi berwirausaha pesantren. Selain itu, literasi ekonomi terbukti memediasi hubungan tersebut. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya sinergi antara kebijakan publik, pendidikan kewirausahaan, dan penguatan literasi ekonomi untuk mendorong kemandirian ekonomi pesantren. Peneliti selanjutnya disarankan untuk menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif atau metode campuran (mixed methods) dan memperluas wilayah penyebaran kuesioner ke luar Pulau Jawa, seperti Sumatera, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, dan wilayah Indonesia Timur untuk memungkinkan eksplorasi yang lebih mendalam terhadap aspek-aspek kontekstual serta memperoleh hasil yang lebih representatif secara nasional, serta menangkap keragaman konteks sosial, budaya, dan ekonomi pesantren yang tersebar di berbagai daerah. Kata Kunci: Kebijakan Pemerintah, Pendidikan Kewirausahaan, Literasi Ekonomi, Intensi Berwirausaha Pesantren, Kemandirian Pesantren. **** This study aims to analyze the influence of government policies and entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intentions among Pesantren in Indonesia, with economic literacy as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of pesantren that received the Pesantren Independence program from the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in 2021-2023 throughout Indonesia. Data was collected through a questionnaire of 340 samples from a population of 2,076 pesantren students. The data was analyzed using Smart-PLS 4.0 using outer model and inner model data analysis techniques. The results of the study show that both government policies and entrepreneurship education have a significant influence on the entrepreneurial intention of Pesantren. In addition, economic literacy has been proven to mediate this relationship. These findings affirm the importance of synergy between public policy, entrepreneurship education, and strengthening economic literacy to encourage the economic independence of Islamic boarding schools. Researchers are further advised to use a qualitative approach or mixed methods and expand the area of dissemination of the questionnaire outside of Java, such as Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Eastern Indonesia to allow for a more in-depth exploration of contextual aspects and obtain more representative results nationally, as well as capture the diversity of social, cultural, and economic contexts of Pesantren spread across various regions.
