Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah terdapat pengaruh antara Pendidikan, Produk Domestik Regional Bruto, dan Realisasi Belanja Daerah terhadap Tingkat Kemiskinan di Kabupaten/Kota Kepulauan Nias. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknis analisis regresi linier. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang didapat melalui Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) dan Direktorat Jendral Perimbangan Keuangan (DJPK) Kementerian Keuangan dalam bentuk data panel melalui penggunaan software Eviews-12 yaitu data cross section berupa lima Kabupaten/Kota di Kepulauan Nias yang terdiri dari Kabupaten Nias, Nias Selatan, Nias Utara, Nias Barat, dan Kota Gunungsitoli. Serta data time series yaitu tahun 2014 - 2023. Model yang terpilih dalam penelitian ini adalah Random Effect Model (REM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel pendidikan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan. Sedangkan produk domestik regional bruto berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan, dan realisasi belanja daerah berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di Kepulauan Nias. Kemiskinan dipengaruhi oleh variabel Pendidikan, PDRB, dan Realisasi Belanja Daerah sebesar 60,28% sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar pembahasan dalam penelitian ini.*** This study aims to examine whether there is a relationship between education, regional gross domestic product, and regional expenditure realization on poverty levels in the Nias Islands Regency/City. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with linear regression analysis techniques. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK) of the Ministry of Finance in the form of panel data using Eviews-12 software, specifically cross-sectional data from five districts/cities in the Nias Islands, namely Nias District, South Nias District, North Nias District, West Nias District, and Gunungsitoli City. Additionally, time series data from 2014 to 2023 was utilized. The selected model in this study is the Random Effect Model (REM). The study concluded that the education variable does not have a significant impact on poverty levels. Meanwhile, regional domestic product has a significant negative effect on poverty levels, and regional expenditure realization has a significant positive effect on poverty levels in the Nias Islands. Poverty is influenced by the variables of education, regional domestic product, and regional expenditure realization by 60.28%, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study.
