Abstract
VIRA DERMAWANTY SAPUTRI. Alat Peraga Medan Magnet Menggunakan Kawat Penghantar. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Juli 2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memvisualisasikan garis-garis gaya magnet dengan merancang dan membangun alat peraga medan magnet menggunakan kawat penghantar menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) yang dibatasi pada tahap Develop. Alat ini dirancang dengan memperhatikan kebutuhan dan ketersediaan alat peraga medan magnet khususnya pada medan magnet menggunakan kawat penghantar. Pada tahap Define, melakukan studi literatur dan studi lapangan melalui wawancara, penyebaran angket dan observasi ketersediaan alat peraga di sekolah. Pada tahap Design, menghasilkan rancangan desain alat dan instrument validasi, uji coba pengguna (skala kecil), dan lembar observasi. Pada tahap Develop, proses pembuatan alat peraga, pengujian alat oleh para ahli dan pengguna, serta evaluasi dan revisi. Hasil dari pengembangan ini adalah alat peraga medan magnet menggunakan kawat penghatar yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan media, serta dinyatakan sangat valid untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika. Uji coba skala kecil juga dilakukan menunjukkan keberhasilan dalam memvisualisasikan garis gaya magnet pada kawat melingkar berarus sehingga sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran medan magnet. Diharapkan pengembangan alat ini dapat dimanfaatkan dlaam pembelajara fisika pada materi medan magnet. Kata Kunci: Alat Peraga, Medan Magnet, Visualisasi. ***** VIRA DERMAWANTY SAPUTRI. This study aims to visualize magnetic field lines by designing and constructing a magnetic field teaching aid using a conductor wire. The development follows the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), limited to the Develop stage. The tool was designed by considering the needs and availability of magnetic field teaching aids, especially those using conductor wires. In the Define stage, literature reviews and field studies were conducted through interviews, questionnaires, and observations of the availability of teaching aids in schools. The Design stage resulted in the tool’s blueprint, validation instruments, small-scale user testing, and observation sheets. The Develop stage included the production process, expert and user testing, as well as evaluation and revision. The result of this development is a magnetic field teaching aid using a conductor wire that has been validated by subject matter and media experts, and declared highly valid for use in physics learning. Small-scale trials were also conducted showing success in visualizing magnetic force lines on a current-carrying coiled wire so that it is very suitable for use as a learning medium for magnetic fields. It is hoped that the development of this tool can be utilized in physics education on magnetic fields. Keywords: Teaching Aid, Magnetic Field, Visualization
