Abstract

Partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah di RW 05 Kelurahan Sunter Agung merupakan hal penting dalam mengatasi permasalahan lingkungan yang berdampak pada kebersihan dan kesehatan. Permasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah meningkatnya timbunan sampah seiring dengan kepadatan penduduk, sehingga diperlukan partisipasi aktif dari masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Februari–Mei 2025 di RW 05 Kelurahan Sunter Agung, Jakarta Utara, dengan populasi 2.519 KK dan sampel sebanyak 60 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar masyarakat berada pada tingkat partisipasi sedang, dengan 36 dari 60 responden berada dalam kategori tersebut. Rata-rata skor partisipasi adalah 31, yang menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi belum optimal, terutama pada tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pemanfaatan hasil. Diperlukan peningkatan keterlibatan masyarakat secara menyeluruh untuk menciptakan pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan. The main problem in this study is the increasing waste generation due to population density, which highlights the need for active community involvement. This research aims to determine the level of community participation in waste management. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The study was conducted from February to May 2025 in RW 05, Sunter Agung, North Jakarta, with a population of 2,519 households and a sample of 60 respondents. The results show that most residents have a moderate level of participation, with 36 out of 60 respondents falling into this category. The average participation score is 31, which indicates that participation is not yet optimal, particularly in the planning, implementation, and result utilization stages. Greater and more consistent community involvement is needed to achieve sustainable waste management. Keywords: Community Participation, Waste Management, Quantitative Descriptive
