Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi akuntansi pengelolaan keuangan berbasis website pada Gereja Pantekosta di Indonesia (GPdI) Pondok Daud, Kecamatan Pondok Gede, Kota Bekasi. Selama ini, proses pencatatan transaksi keuangan dan data aset gereja masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan buku tulis dan alat tulis oleh bendahara gereja, kemudian direkap secara berkala dalam buku kegiatan gereja. Kondisi ini mengakibatkan proses pelaporan keuangan menjadi lambat, kurang efisien, dan tidak sepenuhnya transparan kepada jemaat, karena tidak adanya media digital untuk publikasi laporan keuangan. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi, pemanfaatan sistem informasi tidak hanya diterapkan di sektor bisnis dan pemerintahan, tetapi juga dapat diimplementasikan dalam organisasi keagamaan, termasuk gereja. Sistem informasi ini diharapkan mampu mendukung kelancaran aktivitas organisasi serta membantu pengambilan keputusan yang lebih cepat dan akurat oleh pengurus, penatua, maupun pendeta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan metode pengembangan sistem Framework for the Application of System Thinking (FAST). Dari delapan tahapan dalam metode FAST, penelitian ini membatasi ruang lingkup pada empat tahapan awal, yaitu hingga tahap perancangan konseptual sistem. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan analisis kebutuhan, diketahui bahwa sistem akuntansi keuangan yang ada belum memenuhi standar efektivitas dan efisiensi yang dibutuhkan. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan sistem berbasis web diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi untuk mendukung keterbukaan informasi dan meningkatkan kinerja pengelolaan keuangan di lingkungan GPdI Pondok Daud. ***** This research aims to design and develop a web-based accounting information system for financial management at the Pentecostal Church in Indonesia (GPdI) Pondok Daud, located in Pondok Gede District, Bekasi City. Currently, the recording of financial transactions and church assets is still conducted manually using notebooks and pens by the church treasurer, with the data later summarized in the church activity logbook. This manual process results in slow reporting, reduced efficiency, and a lack of transparency to the congregation due to the absence of a digital medium for publishing financial reports. In line with technological advancements, the use of information systems has become essential not only in businesses and government institutions but also in religious organizations. An integrated system can support church operations and assist elders, church leaders, and pastors in making timely and well-informed decisions. This research applies a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Framework for the Application of System Thinking (FAST) method. Although FAST consists of eight stages, this study focuses on the first four, up to the conceptual system design phase. Findings from interviews and needs assessments indicate that the current financial accounting practices are not optimal and require considerable time and effort. Therefore, the proposed web-based information system is expected to serve as a practical solution to enhance transparency, improve efficiency, and support better financial management within GPdI Pondok Daud.
