Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan secara empirik pengaruh model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah adanya indikasi bahwa rendahnya hasil belajar siswa berkorelasi dengan model pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Model Reciprocal Teaching, yang berprinsip pada pembentukan kelompok kecil untuk perumusan pertanyaan dan pengajaran timbal balik, diajukan sebagai solusi potensial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen jenis pretest-posttest control group design pada 60 siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta. Sampel dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: 30 siswa di kelas eksperimen yang menerima perlakuan model Reciprocal Teaching dan 30 siswa di kelas kontrol. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa rata- rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen (81,92) lebih unggul secara signifikan dibandingkan kelas kontrol (79,06), meskipun nilai pretest kedua kelompok relatif setara (eksperimen 59,29; kontrol 60,36). Hasil uji prasyarat menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal (Uji Kolmogorov- Smirnov > 0,05) dan varians data bersifat homogen (Uji-F = 0,872). Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Uji-T menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,018, yang lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi α=0,05. Berdasarkan temuan ini, disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta pada materi "Di Bawah Tirani Jepang". Kata Kunci: di Bawah Tirani Jepang, hasil helajar, Reciprocal Teaching. ***** This research seeks to empirically demonstrate the influence of the Reciprocal Teaching model on student learning outcomes. The study is based on evidence that poor student learning outcomes are correlated with the model used. The reciprocal teaching model, based on small groups for questioning and reciprocal teaching, is proposed as a possible solution. This study employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental pretest- posttest control group design, conducted on 60 11th-grade Social Studies (IPS) students at SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta. The sample was divided into two groups: 30 students in the experimental group, who received the Reciprocal Teaching model treatment, and 30 students in the control group. Data analysis revealed that the average posttest score of the experimental group (81.92) was significantly higher than that of the control group (79.06), although the pretest scores of both groups were comparable (experimental: 59.29; control: 60.36). The prerequisite test results showed that the data were normally distributed (Kolmogorov- Smirnov test > 0.05) and that the data variance was homogeneous (F-test = 0.872). Hypothesis testing using the T-test yielded a significance value of 0.018, which is lower than the significance level of α = 0.05. Based on these findings, it was concluded that the application of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of 11th-grade Social Studies students at SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta on the topic 'Under the Tyranny of Japan'.
