Abstract

Perkembangan pariwisata memberikan variasi pekerjaan bagi perempuan selain menekuni pekerjaan tradisional sebagai ibu rumah tangga dan membantu suami bekerja di sawah maupun ladang. Keberadaan pariwisata di Pulau Pari membuka peluang usaha bagi masyarakat lokal khususnya para perempuan. Pulau Pari merupakan daya tarik wisata berbasis bahari dan ekowisata di Kepulauan Seribu. Secara geografis, Pulau Pari berdekatan dengan masyarakat setempat penduduk. Hal ini memungkinkan interaksi antara masyarakat lokal dan turis di Pulau Pari terutama kelompok masyarakat perempuan yang menunjang kegiatan pariwisata di Pulau Pari. Keterlibatan perempuan dalam pengelolaan dan pengembangan atraksi wisata secara aktif menciptakan peluang lapangan kerja baru bagi masyarakat lokal, dapat memperdalam pemahaman mereka tentang pariwisata, serta meningkatkan taraf hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis untuk mengetahui peranan perempuan pada kegiatan pariwisata di Pulau Pari. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumen. Hasilnya, partisipasi perempuan dapat berdampak pada peningkatan pendapatan, munculnya rasa bangga terhadap tempat tinggal, terbukanya kesempatan untuk terlibat dan mengambil keputusan, serta sangat berperan dalam atraksi dan penyediaan fasilitas di kawasan Pulau Pari sehingga meningkatkan kesejahteraan perempuan dan komunitas secara keseluruhan. Melalui penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa partisipasi perempuan dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam mendukung pemberdayaan perempuan di Pulau Pari.***** The development of tourism provides a variety of jobs for women besides pursuing traditional work as housewives and helping their husbands work in rice fields and fields. The existence of tourism on Pari Island opens up business opportunities for the local community, especially women. Pari Island is a marine-based tourist attraction and ecotourism in the Thousand Islands. Geographically, Pari Island is close to the local community. This allows interaction between local people and tourists on Pari Island, especially women's community groups that support tourism activities on Pari Island. The involvement of women in the management and development of tourist attractions actively creates new employment opportunities for local communities, can deepen their understanding of tourism, and improve living standards. This research aims to identify and analyze the role of women in tourism activities on Pari Island. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method, data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document study. As a result, women's participation can have an impact on increasing income, creating a sense of pride in the place where they live, opening up opportunities for involvement and decision-making, and playing a major role in the attraction and provision of facilities in the Pari Island area so as to improve the welfare of women and the community as a whole. Through this research, it is concluded that Women's Participation can be an effective strategy in supporting women's empowerment on Pari Island.
