Abstract
Materi hukum dasar kimia sering kali dianggap sulit oleh siswa karena sifat materi yang memerlukan pemahaman logika ilmiah, kemampuan analitis, dan keterampilan numerik. Rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap materi ini disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran yang masih konvensional dan kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write berbantuan open ended terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi hukum dasar kimia. Penelitian menggunakan metode true experiment dengan desain pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas X SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write berbantuan Open Ended dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model Think Pair Share. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal pilihan ganda yang telah divalidasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa model kooperatif Tipe Think Talk Write berbantuan open ended berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi hukum dasar kimia. ***** Basic chemistry law material is often considered difficult by students due to the nature of the material that requires an understanding of scientific logic, analytical abilities, and numerical skills. The low understanding of students of this material is caused by learning methods that are still conventional and do not actively involve students. This study aims to test the influence of the open-ended assisted Think Talk Write type cooperative model on student learning outcomes in basic chemistry law material. The study used the true experiment method with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes X of SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta, namely the experimental class using the Think Talk Write type cooperative model assisted by Open Ended and the control class using the Think Pair Share model. The research instrument is in the form of multiple choice questions that have been validated. The results showed that there was a significant increase in learning outcomes in the experimental class compared to the control class. This proves that the open end-assisted Think Talk Write type cooperative model has a positive effect on student learning outcomes in basic chemistry law material.
