Abstract

Development of Mobile Learning Based on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) on Acid Base Material. Mini thesis, Chemistry Education Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Jakarta, July 2025. This study aims to develop mobile learning media based on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) for acid-base material that can be used to support the learning process. The research method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method by Borg & Gall. The subjects of this study were 11th grade high school students at SMA Negeri 8 Depok. The research stages included preliminary and needs analysis, development of the mobile learning product, validation testing by experts, and trials by students and teachers. The percentage of validation test results assessed by material and language experts obtained an average score of 86.4% and by media experts gave an average score of 86.9%. The result of the inter-rater (expert) realibility test using the ICC method were 0.78 for material and language experts and 0.89 for media experts. The assessment percentage result of small-scale trial by student of 81.8%, while the large-scale trial reached 85.7%. The percentage of assessment based on teacher trials reached score 93.0%. Based on the assessment results, the mobile learning media is deemed feasible for use as a supporting tool in teaching acid-base chemistry. Keywords: Acid-Base, Mobile Learning, Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)
