Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan siklus akuntansi dan merancang sebuah sistem informasi akuntansi berbasis Microsoft Excel pada Masjid Jami Al-Hikmah. Masjid Jami Al-Hikmah merupakan unit analisis dalam penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (R&D), dengan metode perancangan sistem Framework for the Application of System Thinking (FAST) dan pada tahap definisi lingkup (scope definition) menggunakan analisis Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Service (PIECES). Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Masjid Jami Al-Hikmah belum menerapkan siklus akuntansi yang sesuai dengan standar dan sistem yang digunakan saat ini masih menghadapi berbagai permasalahan dalam aspek kinerja, informasi, ekonomi, kontrol, efisiensi, dan pelayanan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menghasilkan rancangan sistem informasi akuntansi berbasis Microsoft Excel yang diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi berupa pencatatan transaksi yang lebih cepat karena sudah terkomputerisasi, menghasilkan laporan keuangan yang sesuai dengan ISAK 335, mengurangi biaya operasional, menyimpan data keuangan dengan baik, meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan keuangan masjid, dan menyediakan data keuangan yang akurat dan lengkap. ***** This study aims to analyze the implementation of the accounting cycle and design a Microsoft Excel-based accounting information system for Masjid Jami Al-Hikmah. Masjid Jami Al-Hikmah serves as the unit of analysis in this research. The research method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method, with the system design method based on the Framework for the Application of System Thinking (FAST). In the scope definition stage, the study utilizes the Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Service (PIECES) analysis. Data analysis techniques include interviews, observations, documentation, and literature review. The results indicate that Masjid Jami Al-Hikmah has not yet implemented an accounting cycle that complies with standards, and the current system still faces various issues in terms of performance, information, economy, control, efficiency, and service. Therefore, this study proposes a Microsoft Excel-based accounting information system design that is expected to provide a solution by enabling faster transaction recording through computerization, generating financial reports in accordance with ISAK 35, reducing operational costs, securely storing financial data, improving the efficiency of mosque financial management, and providing accurate and comprehensive financial data.
