Abstract

Film sebagai sebuah media dalam menginformasikan dan mengkomunikasikan sesuatu sangatlah efektif dan akrab di kalangan siswa. Film dengan teknik audio visualnya mampu membuat sebuah fenomena atau rangkaian peristiwa menjadi inspirasi seseorang yang menontonnya. Film juga menjadi sebuah media dalam menginspirasi sikap kepemimpinan siswa. Siswa yang merupakan bagian dari manajerial yang harus dikelola kepala sekolah, perlu mendapat perhatian utamanya pada kegiatan OSIS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran media film dalam menginspirasi sikap kepemimpinan siswa di SMPIT Assalam Jakarta Selatan. Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis film yang menginspirasi sikap kepemimpinan adalah jenis film remaja dengan berbagai genre. Pada fokus grup diskusi, siswa memberikan pendapat dan informasi mengenai film-film yang ditonton mereka, walau ada sebagian kecil siswa tidak menyukai film. Adapun judul film yang ditonton siswa adalah 5 cm, Naura and the Genk, 12 Menit: Kemenangan untuk Selamanya, Now You See Me, Fetih 1453, Avengers Civil War, Bilal a New Breed of Hero, Facing the Giant, Merah Putih Memanggil, Soekarno, 5 Elang, Umar Bin Khatab, Bangkit, dan Coach Carter. Dari hasil wawancara dan diskusi diketahui bahwa film yang menginspirasi sikap kepemimpinan siswa adalah film 12 Menit: Kemenangan untuk Selamanya. Hal ini dikarenakan film tersebut diputar pada kegiatan OSIS, sehingga hampir semua siswa ikut serta menonton tayangan. Sikap kepemimpinan yang menginspirasi dari tayangan film tersebut adalah tanggung jawab, kerja sama, percaya diri, memimpin, menghargai orang lain, komunikatif, mendelegasikan tugas dan kejujuran. Dengan merujuk pada hasil penelitian ini, maka perlu dirancang suatu skema di mana top leader di sekolah dapat menggunakan media film dalam kegiatan OSIS secara berkelanjutan dengan update informasi film yang akurat dan tepat untuk menginspirasi sikap kepemimpinan siswa. Kata Kunci: Film, Media, Inspirasi, Sikap Kepemimpinan dan Siswa. A movie, as a medium to inform and communicate something, is strongly effective and familiar to students. Movies, with all their audio visual technics, are able to create a phenomenon or series of events that inspire the Students' leadership. The students, who are parts of managerial managed by a Head Master, need to have their main concern towards the activities of OSIS (Students' Organization). This research aims to describe the roles of film media to inspire the Students' leadership in SMPIT Assalam South Jakarta. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The result of this research shows that the types of movies, inspiring the leadership, are the ones with teenager's theme in various genres. On the discussion groups, they give their opinions and information toward the movies they have watched, although there have been some who do not like watching any. Thus, the titles of movies they have watched are 5 cm, Naura and the Genk, 12 Menit: Kemenangan untuk Selamanya, Now You See Me, Fetih 1453, Avengers Civil War, Bilal a New Breed of Hero, Facing the Giant, Merah Putih Memanggil, Soekarno, 5 Elang, Umar Bin Khatab, Bangkit, and Coach Carter. The interview and discussion reveal that the most inspirational movies to the Students' leadership are 12 Menit: Kemenangan untuk Selamanya. It is due to this movie was played during the OSIS activities, so almost all students watched it together. The leaderships revealed are responsibility, collaboration, confidence, leading, appreciation to others, communicative, task delegation and honesty. By referring to the result of this research, so it needs to design a scheme, which is by playing a movie during OSIS activities sustainably along with updating the accurate and precise information of movies to inspire the Students' leadership.
