Abstract

Abstrak: Menulis merupakan kegiatan mengungkapkan isi pikiran atau perasaan. Salah satu jenis teks yang biasa digunakan dalam belajar menulis adalah teks naratif. Teks naratif adalah cerita yang disajikan dalam urutan waktu. Hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia terkait menulis teks naratif peserta didik kelas VII masih rendah, hal tersebut dikarenakan masih seringnya guru menerapkan metode ceramah dalam pembelajaran, sehingga banyak peserta didik yang tidak aktif di dalam kelas dan mengakibatkan pemahaman mereka akan materi menjadi kurang yang mana berimbas terhadap hasil belajar yang kurang memuaskan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks naratif dan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Model pembelajaran picture and picture adalah model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam bentuk gambar sebagai media pembelajaran Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas, yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran Picture and Picture memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis teks naratif dan minat belajar peserta didik. Pada tahap observasi awal, nilai rata-rata kemampuan menulis teks naratif peserta didik adalah 64,9. Adapun nilai rata-rata peserta didik pada siklus pertama mencapai 70,1 dan pada siklus kedua, nilai rata-rata peserta didik adalah 75,2. Kendala yang dihadapi, pada siklus I dan siklus II dapat diselesaikan dengan baik. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran picture and picture dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks naratif dan meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik kelas VII di MTs Nur-Attaqwa, Kelapa Gading. Kata kunci: Teks Narasi, Menulis, Model Picture and Picture Abstract: Writing is an activity to express the contents of thoughts or feelings. One type of text that is commonly used in learning to write is narrative text. Narrative texts are stories that are presented in chronological order. Indonesian learning outcomes related to writing narrative texts for grade VII students is still low, this is because teachers often apply the lecture method in learning, so that many students are not active in the classroom and result in their understanding of the material being less which impact on the results unsatisfactory learning. This study aims to implement the Picture and Picture learning model to improve the ability to write narrative texts and to increase students' interest in learning. The picture and picture learning model is a learning model that is used in the form of pictures as a learning medium. This study uses a class action research design, which is carried out in two cycles and each cycle consists of four stages. The results showed that the implementation of the Picture and Picture learning model had an influence on the ability to write narrative texts and students' interest in learning. At the initial observation stage, the average value of students' ability to write narrative texts is 64.9. The average value of students in the first cycle reached 70.1 and in the second cycle, the average value of students was 75.2. Constraints faced, in the first cycle and second cycle can be resolved properly. From these results it can be concluded that by applying a picture and picture learning model can improve the ability to write narrative texts and increase the interest in learning for students in grade VII at MTs Nur-Attaqwa, Kelapa Gading.
