Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi penyuluhan yang dilakukan kader Posyandu dalam meningkatkan kesadaran kesehatan lansia di wilayah RW 06 Kelurahan Lubang Buaya. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah adanya hambatan komunikasi dan keterbatasan akses informasi yang dialami lansia, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan penyuluhan yang efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis bagaiamana strategi penyuluhan yang diterapkan kader Posyandu dapat mendorong peningkatkan kesadaran kesehatan lansia dari sisi pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode naratif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta dilakukan triangulasi teknik untuk memperkuat validitas temuan. Fokus studi pada kegiatan Posyandu Lansia Melati RW 06 melibatkan interaksi langsung antara kader dan lansia serta pemanfaatan media digital dan kunjungan ke rumah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi penyuluhan kader posyandu menerapkan prinsip komunikasi persuasif dengan model AIDDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Decision, Action) dan pendekatan penyuluhan pembangunan yang berorientasi pada partisipasi aktif masyarakat serta komunikasi dua arah. Penyampaian informasi dilakukan melalui tatap muka saat kegiatan posyandu berlangsung, kunjungan rumah (door to door) bagi lansia yang mempunyai keterbatasan fisik, serta pemanfaatan media digital WhatsApp Group. Pendekatan ini meningkatkan pengetahuan lansia tentang pentingnya pemeriksaan rutin, menumbuhkan sikap positif terhadap kesehatan, dan memicu perilaku nyata seperti partisipasi aktif di Posyandu serta praktik hidup sehat. Kesimpulannya, strategi penyuluhan berbasis komunikasi persuasif dan penyuluhan pembangunan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran kesehatan lansia pada aspek kognitif (pengetahuan), afektif (sikap) dan konatif (tindakan). Temuan ini menegaskan peran kader Posyandu sebagai agen perubahan sosial yang mampu mengoptimalkan partisipasi lansia dan memperkuat pemberdayaan kesehatan masyarakat. Faktor pendukung utama keberhasilan strategi ini adalah dukungan keluarga dan interaksi sosial yang hangat, sedangkan faktor penghambat meliputi penurunan fungsi pendengaran lansia, rendahnya literasi, serta kendala fisik (mobilitas) lansia. Kata Kunci: Strategi Penyuluhan, Kader Posyandu, Komunikasi Persuasif, Penyuluhan Pembangunan, Kesadaran Kesehatan Lansia. ***** This study examines the counseling strategies used by Posyandu cadres in raising health awareness among the elderly in RW 06, Lubang Buaya Village. The background to this study is the communication barriers and limited access to information experienced by the elderly, which necessitates an effective counseling approach. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze how the education strategies implemented by Posyandu cadres can encourage an increase in health awareness among the elderly in terms of knowledge, attitudes, and actions. The researcher used a qualitative approach with a narrative method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and triangulation techniques were used to strengthen the validity of the findings. The study focused on the activities of the Melati RW 06 Elderly Posyandu, which involved direct interaction between cadres and the elderly, as well as the use of digital media and home visits. The results showed that the Posyandu cadres' education strategy applied the principles of persuasive communication using the AIDDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Decision, Action) model and a development education approach oriented towards active community participation and two-way communication. Information was conveyed through face-to-face meetings during Posyandu activities, door-to-door home visits for elderly people with physical limitations, and the use of WhatsApp Group digital media. This approach increased the elderly's knowledge about the importance of routine check-ups, fostered a positive attitude towards health, and triggered real behaviors such as active participation in Posyandu and healthy living practices. In conclusion, persuasive communication-based education and development education strategies have proven effective in increasing the health awareness of the elderly in cognitive (knowledge), affective (attitude), and conative (action) aspects. These findings confirm the role of Posyandu cadres as agents of social change who are able to optimize the participation of the elderly and strengthen community health empowerment. The main supporting factors for the success of this strategy are family support and warm social interactions, while the inhibiting factors include the decline in the hearing function of the elderly, low literacy, and physical constraints (mobility) of the elderly.
