Abstract

Sistem firestop merupakan bagian penting dari proteksi kebakaran pasif yang berfungsi mencegah penyebaran api dan asap pada bangunan gedung. Keberhasilan pemasangan sistem ini tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh kualitas material, tetapi juga oleh produktivitas tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan produktivitas tenaga kerja profesional dan non-profesional dalam pemasangan sistem firestop. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan komparatif. Objek penelitian meliputi pemasangan Firestop Mortar CP-636, Firestop Coating CP-670, dan Firestop Coating Board CP-670 pada media mock-up shaft electrical dengan kondisi yang sama. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 7 (tujuh) orang tenaga kerja, yaitu 2 (dua) tenaga kerja profesional dan 5 (lima) tenaga kerja non-profesional. Produktivitas dianalisis berdasarkan indikator waktu pemasangan, kualitas hasil instalasi, dan efisiensi penggunaan material. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tenaga kerja profesional memiliki produktivitas yang lebih baik dibandingkan tenaga kerja non-profesional, ditinjau dari waktu pemasangan yang lebih cepat, kualitas hasil yang lebih konsisten, serta tingkat pemborosan material yang lebih rendah. Dengan demikian, tingkat keahlian dan pengalaman kerja berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas pemasangan sistem firestop. Kata kunci: produktivitas tenaga kerja, firestop system, proteksi kebakaran pasif. ***** Firestop systems are an essential component of passive fire protection, functioning to prevent the spread of fire and smoke within buildings. The success of firestop system installation is influenced not only by material quality but also by labor productivity. This study aims to analyze the productivity differences between professional and non-professional labor in firestop system installation. The research employed a quantitative method with a comparative approach. The research objects included the installation of Firestop Mortar CP-636, Firestop Coating CP-670, and Firestop Coating Board CP-670 on electrical shaft mock-up media under identical conditions. The research sample consisted of seven (7) workers, comprising two (2) professional workers and five (5) non-professional workers. Productivity was analyzed based on installation time, quality of installation results, and material usage efficiency. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and an Mann-Whitney U-Test. The results indicate that professional labor demonstrates higher productivity than non-professional labor, as evidenced by faster installation time, more consistent installation quality, and lower levels of material waste. Therefore, skill level and work experience significantly affect productivity in firestop system installation. Keywords: labor productivity, firestop system, passive fire protection.
