Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memformulasikan dan mengevaluasi mutu fisik sediaan krim lulur berbahan dasar beras ketan hitam (Oryza sativa L. var. glutinosa) yang dikombinasikan dengan ekstrak kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val.) sebagai produk perawatan kulit berbahan alami. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pengembangan empat formula berdasarkan variasi konsentrasi bubuk beras ketan hitam (5% dan 10%) dan ekstrak kunyit (0,5% dan 1%). Evaluasi sediaan meliputi uji organoleptik, homogenitas, pH, daya sebar, daya lekat, viskositas, uji hedonik, uji iritasi, serta uji stabilitas selama 28 hari pada suhu 40°C. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh formulasi memenuhi persyaratan mutu fisik sediaan krim lulur dan berada pada rentang pH yang sesuai dengan pH kulit. Uji iritasi menunjukkan bahwa seluruh formulasi aman digunakan, serta uji hedonik menunjukkan tingkat penerimaan panelis yang baik. Formulasi dengan kombinasi beras ketan hitam 5% dan ekstrak kunyit 1% dinyatakan sebagai formulasi terbaik berdasarkan stabilitas dan tingkat kesukaan panelis. Kata kunci: krim lulur, beras ketan hitam, kunyit, formulasi kosmetik, evaluasi fisik ***** This study aimed to formulate and evaluate the physical quality of a body scrub cream containing black glutinous rice (Oryza sativa L. var. glutinosa) combined with turmeric extract (Curcuma domestica Val.) as a natural-based cosmetic product. A descriptive quantitative research method was employed, involving the development of four formulations with varying concentrations of black glutinous rice powder (5% and 10%) and turmeric extract (0.5% and 1%). The evaluation parameters included organoleptic properties, homogeneity, pH, spreadability, adhesiveness, viscosity, hedonic assessment, irritation testing, and stability testing conducted for 28 days at 40°C. The results indicated that all formulations met the physical quality requirements for body scrub cream preparations and exhibited pH values within the acceptable range for human skin. Irritation tests confirmed that all formulations were safe for topical application, while hedonic evaluation demonstrated good acceptance among panelists. The formulation containing 5% black glutinous rice and 1% turmeric extract was identified as the optimal formulation based on its stability and panelist preference.
