Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah terdapat pengaruh pemahaman mahasiswa PPKN FISH UNJ tentang Pasal 28 UU ITE terhadap perilaku hukum mereka dalam penyebaran berita bohong di media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei pada populasi 298 mahasiswa angkatan 2022-2024 (sampel 75 via simple random sampling Slovin e=0,1). Hasil pengumpulan data melalui tes objektif 42 item (Cronbach Alpha 0,720). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pengaruh positif signifikan kuat (37,4% variasi Y dijelaskan X) dengan variabel independen X (rata-rata 34,92) dan kuesioner Likert 58 item (Cronbach Alpha 0,968) untuk variabel dependen Y (rata-rata 217,97), dianalisis regresi linear sederhana SPSS (Y ̂ = 58,689 + 1,931X; R=0,612; R²=0,374; t=6,611; Sig=0,001). Kesimpulan menegaskan terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan yang kuat antara pemahaman mahasiswa PPKN FISH UNJ tentang pasal 28 UU ITE terhadap perilaku hukum dalam penyebaran berita bohong di media sosial. ***** This study aims to examine whether there is an influence of FISH UNJ PPKN students' understanding of Article 28 of the ITE Law on their legal behaviour in spreading fake news on social media. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method on a population of 298 students from the 2022-2024 cohort (sample of 75 via Slovin simple random sampling e=0.1). Data collection was conducted through a 42-item objective test (Cronbach Alpha 0.720). The results of this study show a strong positive influence (37.4% of Y variation explained by X) with the independent variable X (mean 34.92) and a 58-item Likert questionnaire (Cronbach Alpha 0.968) for the dependent variable Y (mean 217.97), analysed using simple linear regression in SPSS (Y ̂ = 58.689 + 1.931X; R=0.612; R²=0.374; t=6.611; Sig=0.001). The conclusion confirms that there is a strong, significant positive influence between FISH UNJ students' understanding of Article 28 of the ITE Law and their legal behaviour in spreading fake news on social media.
