Abstract
***** Children with tactile sensory disorders, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), often face challenges in processing tactile stimuli, and this affects their daily activities. This study aims to use monumental textile techniques as a means of tactile intervention in the form of an adaptive water bottle sleeve. The method applied is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach on ASD with tactile sensory disorders at Bloom Child Development Center. The product is developed by considering sensory integration principles, including sub-factors of response to touch and adaptive response (adjustment), as well as ergonomic principles, including sub-factors of usability, comfort, and flexibility. Data are collected through observation, interviews with therapists and parents/guardians regarding the child's sensory reactions when using the product, and documentation. The results of the study are expected to prove that the adaptive water bottle sleeve, based on monumental textile techniques, can function as a tactile intervention medium that provides positive sensory stimulation, helps regulate the child's tactile responses, and supports the implementation of independent daily functional activities.
