Abstract

Perubahan sosial dan ekonomi menyebabkan semakin banyak ibu menjalani peran ganda sebagai pencari nafkah sekaligus pendidik utama anak. Kondisi ini berpotensi mengurangi intensitas interaksi antara ibu bekerja dan anak yang pada akhirnya dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan kemandirian anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara interaksi ibu bekerja dengan kemandirian anak usia 5 – 6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi diperoleh bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara variabel X dan variabel Y, hal ini dibuktikan bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) < 0,025 yaitu 0,000 < 0,025. Dengan demikian maka hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima, sedangkan nilai R square diperoleh sebesar 0,444 yang menunjukkan bahwa persentase hubungan interaksi ibu bekerja dengan kemandirian anak usia 5 – 6 tahun sebesar 44%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa semakin tinggi interaksi yang terjalin antara ibu bekerja dengan anak maka semakin tinggi pula kemandirian anak. ***** Social and economic changes have led to more and more mothers taking on dual roles as breadwinners and primary educators of their children. This condition has the potential to reduce the intensity of interaction between working mothers and their children, which in turn can affect the development of early childhood independence. This study aims to determine the relationship between the interaction of working mothers and the independence of children aged 5 – 6 years. This study uses quantitative method. Based on the results of the correlation test, it was found that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y, this is evidenced by the Sig. (2-tailed) value <0,025, namely 0,000 < 0,025. Thus, the hypothesis in this study is that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, while the R square value obtained is 0,444, which indicates that the percentage of the relationship between the interaction of working mothers and the independence of children aged 5 – 6 years is 44%. This proves that the higher the interaction between working mothers and their children, the higher the children’s independence.
