Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh Kompetensi Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi terhadap Kesiapan Praktik Kerja Lapangan siswa DPIB SMK Negeri 58 Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif kausal komparatif. Variabel Kompetensi EBK menggunakan nilai Asesmen Tengah Semester Ganjil kelas XII. Sedangkan untuk variabel kesiapan PKL berupa kuesioner skala Likert 5 poin yang dibagikan kepada 32 siswa kelas XII DPIB. Hasil analisis regresi polinomial menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan Kompetensi EBK terhadap Kesiapan PKL siswa SMK DPIB. Kemudian hasil analisis korelasi Rank Spearman menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara kedua variabel tersebut. Analisis tiap indikator EBK mengungkapkan bahwa siswa sangat menguasai perhitungan RAB (97,92%), namun relatif lemah pada perhitungan harga satuan pekerjaan/AHS (69,38%). Sementara itu, pada aspek kesiapan PKL menunjukkan bahwa aspek tertinggi adalah kesiapan alat dan sarana (84,06%) dan terendah adalah kesiapan fisik (81,88%). Temuan ini menjelaskan mengapa pengaruh EBK tidak signifikan: kesiapan PKL relatif homogen, indikator EBK yang paling krusial (AHS) belum optimal, serta aspek kesiapan tertinggi dan terendah berada di luar domain langsung kompetensi EBK. ***** This study aims to analyze the effect of Construction Cost Estimation (EBK) Competence on the Readiness for Internship (PKL) of students in the DPIB program at SMK Negeri 58 Jakarta. The research employed a quantitative causal-comparative method. The EBK Competence variable was measured using the Mid-Semester Assessment scores of Grade XII students, while the PKL readiness variable was measured using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire administered to 32 Grade XII DPIB students. The results of polynomial regression analysis indicate that there is no significant effect of EBK Competence on students’ PKL readiness. Furthermore, the Spearman Rank correlation analysis shows that there is no meaningful relationship between the two variables. Analysis of each EBK indicator reveals that students demonstrated very high mastery in Budget Plan (RAB) calculation (97.92%), but were relatively weak in unit cost analysis (AHS) (69.38%). Meanwhile, in terms of PKL readiness, the highest aspect was material readiness (84.06%), while the lowest was physical readiness (81.88%). These findings help explain why the effect of EBK competence was not significant: students’ PKL readiness was relatively homogeneous, the most critical EBK indicator (AHS) was not yet optimal, and both the highest and lowest readiness aspects were outside the direct domain of EBK competence.
