Abstract
Serangan hama merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat menurunkan hasil pertanian, sehingga diperlukan sistem pengendali hama yang mampu bekerja secara efektif di area lahan terbuka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menguji sistem pengendali hama menggunakan komunikasi LoRa sebagai media transmisi data jarak jauh. Sistem terdiri dari sensor Passive Infrared (PIR) sebagai pendeteksi pergerakan, ESP32-CAM sebagai pengambil citra, Speaker ultrasonik sebagai output serta modul LoRa sebagai pengirim dan penerima data. Metode penelitian meliputi perancangan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak serta pengujian kinerja sistem. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sensor PIR mampu mendeteksi pergerakan objek hingga jarak 3 meter dengan tegangan output yang stabil, sedangkan komunikasi LoRa dapat berjalan andal hingga jarak 250 meter dengan hasil kehilangan paket data minimal. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, sistem yang dikembangkan dinilai mampu bekerja sesuai perancangan dan layak diterapkan sebagai solusi pengendali hama berbasis komunikasi nirkabel jarak jauh. ***** Pest infestation is one of the factors that can reduce agricultural productivity, thus requiring an effective pest control system for open-field environments. This research aims to design and evaluate a pest control system using LoRa communication as a long-range data transmission medium. The system consists of a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor for motion detection, an ESP32-CAM module for image capture, an ultrasonic speaker as the output device, and a LoRa module for data transmission and reception. The research method includes hardware and software design as well as system performance testing. The experimental results show that the PIR sensor is able to detect object movement at distances of up to 3 meters with stable output voltage, while LoRa communication operates reliably up to 250 meters with minimal packet loss. Based on these results, the developed system performs as designed and is suitable for implementation as a long-range wireless pest control solution in agricultural areas.
