Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran tambahan dalam bentuk multimedia interaktif pada mata kuliah Teknik Penyehatan di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Hal ini sebagai salah satu bentuk upaya dalam meningkatkan efisiensi, mempermudah proses pembelajaran, dan mengatasi permasalahan pada keterbatasan waktu selama pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model Multimedia Design Life Cycle (MDLC) yang terdiri dari enam tahapan: concept, design, material collection, development, testing, and dissemination. Adapun teknnik analisis data yang digunakan berupa deskriptif kuantitatif dengan instrumen berbentuk kuesioner. Proses penelitian dimulai dari melakukan analisis kebutuhan, yang dilanjutkan pada proses desain awal, pengumpulan bahan, hingga penyatuan semua komponon dalam membentuk 5 buah multimedia interaktif . Selanjutnya dilakukan uji kelayakan produk oleh para ahli dan penilaian kepuasan pengguna. Berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh 3 ahli materi mendapatkan nilai sebesar 82,2% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”, sedangkan hasil validasi oleh 3 ahli media mendapatkan nilai sebesar 94,5% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”, dan hasil validasi oleh 3 ahli bahasa mendapatkan nilai 89% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Setelah dilakukan revisi berdasarkan masukan dan saran para ahli, selanjutnya dilakukan survey kepuasan pengguna terhadap 35 responden dalam menilai sejauh mana produk yang dihasilkan dapat membantu pembelajaran. Hasil dari survey tersebut mendapatkan persentase sebesar 87,42% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Berdasarkan hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif yang telah dikembangkan memenuhi standar untuk diimplementasikan dalam membantu proses pembelajaran sebagai media pembelajaran tambahan pada mata kuliah Teknik Penyehatan, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. ***** This study aims to develop supplementary learning media in the form of interactive multimedia for the Sanitary Engineering course at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This development serves as an effort to enhance learning efficiency, facilitate the instructional process, and address challenges related to limited instructional time during classroom learning. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the Multimedia Design Life Cycle (MDLC) model, which consists of six stages: concept, design, material collection, development, testing, and dissemination. The data analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative analysis with a questionnaire as the research instrument. The research process began with a needs analysis, followed by the initial design stage, material collection, and the integration of all components into five interactive multimedia products. Subsequently, product feasibility testing was conducted by experts, along with an assessment of user satisfaction. Based on the validation results, evaluations by three subject-matter experts yielded a score of 82.2%, categorized as “Very Feasible.” Validation by three media experts resulted in a score of 94.5% with a “Very Feasible” category, while validation by three language experts achieved a score of 89%, also categorized as “Very Feasible.” After revisions were made based on expert feedback and suggestions, a user satisfaction survey was conducted involving 35 respondents to assess the extent to which the developed product supported the learning process. The survey results showed a percentage of 87.42%, classified as “Very Feasible.” These findings indicate that the developed interactive multimedia meets the required standards for implementation as a supplementary learning medium to support the learning process in the Environmental Health Engineering course at Universitas Negeri Jakarta.
