Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh Good Corporate Governance dan Intellectual Capital terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan, serta menguji peran ukuran perusahaan sebagai variabel moderasi. Objek penelitian adalah perusahaan sektor energi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2020-2024. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling berdasarkan tertentu sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 38 perusahaan dengan total 190 data obeservasi. Menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dan analisis regresi moderasi dengan perangkat lunak STATA 17, penelitian ini mengambil pendekatan kuantitatif. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kinerja keuangan perusahaan di sektor energi tidak terpengaruh secara signifikan oleh tata kelola korporat yang baik. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa kinerja keuangan perusahaan-perusahaan ini dipengaruhi oleh modal intelektual. Hasil uji moderasi menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh modal intelektual dan tata kelola korporasi yang baik terhadap kesuksesan keuangan tidak dikurangi oleh ukuran perusahaan. Untuk mencapai kinerja keuangan yang kompetitif demi kepentingan investor dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya, penelitian ini menyarankan perusahaan untuk lebih fokus pada pengelolaan dan pengembangan modal intelektual yang optimal. Diperkirakan hasil ini akan memberikan landasan teoretis dan praktis untuk pengembangan kebijakan bisnis dan penelitian lebih lanjut di bidang keuangan yang relevan. ***** The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Good Corporate Governance and Intellectual Capital on company financial performance, as well as to examine the role of company size as a moderating variable. The research subjects are energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020-2024. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling based on specific criteria, resulting in 38 companies with a total of 190 observations. Using panel data regression analysis and moderation regression analysis with STATA 17 software, this study takes a quantitative approach. The findings demonstrate that the financial performance of businesses in the energy sector is not significantly impacted by sound corporate governance. Additionally, it was shown that the financial performance of businesses in the energy sector is impacted by intellectual capital. The moderation test's findings demonstrate that the influence of intellectual capital and sound corporate governance on financial success cannot be mitigated by a company's size. In order to achieve competitive financial performance for the benefit of investors and other stakeholders, this study advises businesses to focus more on the best management and development of intellectual capital. It is anticipated that these results will be taken into account both academically and practically when developing business policy and conducting additional study in related fields of finance.
