Abstract

ABSTRAK Sheyllavia Nandhita. 2026. Struktur Patriarki dalam Kehidupan Perempuan pada Film Madame Claude Karya Sylvie Verheyde. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Prancis, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur-struktur patriarki dalam kehidupan perempuan yang terdapat pada dialog film Madame Claude (2021) karya Sylvie Verheyde. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori menurut Walby (2014), yaitu Pekerjaan Rumah Tangga, Pekerjaan Berbayar, Seksualitas, Budaya, Kekerasan, dan Negara. Metode penelitian ini adalah analisis isi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui penontonan film secara berulang, transkripsi dialog, dan klasifikasi kutipan berdasarkan indikator masing-masing bentuk patriarki yang terdapat pada film Madame Claude (2021). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 32 data yang relevan. Distribusi data menunjukkan bahwa bentuk patriarki yang paling dominan dalam film adalah patriarki dalam bentuk negara sebanyak 9 data, patriarki dalam bentuk budaya sebanyak 8 data, pekerjaan berbayar sebanyak 6 data, patriarki dalam bentuk kekerasan terhadap perempuan sebanyak 4 data, patriarki dalam bentuk seksualitas sebanyak 3 data , dan patriarki dalam bentuk pekerjaan rumah tangga sebanyak 2 data. Berdasarkan analisis data tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa film ini menggambarkan kehidupan Madame Claude dan para perempuan pada zaman itu dikelilingi oleh budaya patriarki yang sangat kuat. Undergraduate Thesis, French Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This study aims to describe the patriarchal structures present in women’s lives as reflected in the dialogues of the film Madame Claude (2021) directed by Sylvie Verheyde. The theoretical framework used in this research is theorie proposed by Walby (2014), which identify six forms of patriarchy: Domestic Work, Paid Work, Sexuality, Culture, Violence, and the State. This study employs a qualitative content analysis method. The data were collected through repeated viewings of the film, dialogue transcription, and classification of excerpts based on the indicators of each form of patriarchy found in Madame Claude (2021). The results show that there are 32 relevant data items. The distribution of the data indicates that the most dominant form of patriarchy in the film is state patriarchy, with 9 data items, followed by cultural patriarchy with 8 data items, patriarchy in paid work with 6 data items, patriarchy in the form of violence against women with 4 data items, patriarchy related to sexuality with 3 data items, and patriarchy in domestic labor with 2 data items. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the film portrays the life of Madame Claude and the women of her time as being surrounded by a deeply entrenched patriarchal culture.
