Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai moral dan pesan-pesan edukatif yang tercermin dalam puisi, khususnya dalam Diwan “Ibtisāmāt al-‘Ashsāq” karya penyair Hussein Al-Mahdar, serta menjelaskan perannya dalam meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya keutamaan akhlak sebagai benteng yang kokoh dalam menghadapi meningkatnya gejala kemerosotan moral di masyarakat modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori etika dalam metodologi Imam al-Ghazali sebagaimana tertuang dalam karyanya Bidāyat al-Hidāyah beserta syarahnya Marāqī al-‘Ubūdiyyah. Penelitian ini merupakan studi dan analisis terhadap karya-karya tulis yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian (library research). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan, dengan memanfaatkan berbagai sumber pustaka seperti buku, jurnal, artikel, dan karya ilmiah lain yang membahas puisi Arab dan nilai-nilai moral. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, diketahui bahwa diwan “Ibtisāmāt al-‘Ashshāq” memuat empat puluh bait puisi yang mengandung nilai-nilai moral. Nilai-nilai tersebut terwujud dalam adab berhubungan dengan Allah dan adab berhubungan dengan pendamping yang tidak pernah berpisah dari manusia. Setelah dilakukan analisis lebih mendalam, ditemukan bahwa adab berhubungan dengan Allah mencakup dua belas bentuk nilai moral, sedangkan adab berhubungan dengan pendamping yang tidak pernah berpisah mencakup enam bentuk nilai moral yang terdapat dalam empat puluh bait puisi dari diwan tersebut. Kata Kunci: Moral, Ibtisāmāt al-‘Asyāq, Imam al-Ghazali ------- This study aims to analyze the moral values and educational messages reflected in poetry, particularly in the diwan “Ibtisāmāt al-‘Ashshāq” by the poet Hussein Al-Mahdar, and to elucidate their role in enhancing awareness of the importance of moral virtues as a strong safeguard against the growing manifestations of moral decline in contemporary society. This research employs the ethical theory within Imam al-Ghazali’s methodology as presented in his work Bidāyat al-Hidāyah, along with its commentary Marāqī al-‘Ubūdiyyah. It is a study and analysis of written works related to the research topic (library research). The research was conducted using a library-based methodology, drawing upon various written sources such as books, journals, articles, and other scholarly works that discuss Arabic poetry and moral values. Based on the findings of the study, it was revealed that the diwan “Ibtisāmāt al-‘Ashshāq” contains forty poetic verses that embody moral values. These values are manifested in the etiquette of companionship with God and the etiquette of companionship with the ever-present companion. Further analysis shows that the etiquette of companionship with God includes twelve forms of moral values, while the etiquette of companionship with the ever-present companion comprises six forms of moral values found within the forty poetic verses of the diwan.
