Abstract
HUBUNGAN WELAS ASIH DAN RESILIENSI DENGAN KESEJAHTERAAN PSIKOLOGIS PADA MURID SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN DI JAKARTA SELATAN ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keterkaitan antara welas asih dan resiliensi dengan kesejahteraan psikologis pada murid Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Jakarta Selatan. Kajian dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya tuntutan akademik dan vokasional yang dihadapi murid SMK khususnya dalam menghadapi praktik kerja lapangan (PKL) dan transisi menuju dunia kerja yang berpotensi menimbulkan tekanan psikologis dan menurunkan kesejahteraan psikologis apabila tidak didukung oleh faktor protektif internal yang memadai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional berganda. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 370 murid SMK di Jakarta Selatan yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penggunaan Skala Kesejahteraan Psikologis berdasarkan model Ryff (PWB-18), Self-Compassion Scale-Youth (SCS-Y) serta Connor–Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik korelasi linier berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 27. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa welas asih dan resiliensi secara simultan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kesejahteraan psikologis murid SMK, yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar R = 0,738 dan koefisien determinasi R² = 0,545 pada tingkat signifikansi p < 0,001. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kedua variabel tersebut secara bersama-sama berkontribusi sebesar 54,5% terhadap variasi kesejahteraan psikologis murid. Secara parsial, welas asih menunjukkan hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan kesejahteraan psikologis, demikian pula resiliensi yang juga memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa murid yang mampu memperlakukan diri secara penuh penerimaan serta memiliki daya lenting psikologis yang baik cenderung menunjukkan tingkat kesejahteraan psikologis yang lebih optimal. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi layanan bimbingan dan konseling di SMK, khususnya dalam pengembangan program yang berfokus pada penguatan welas asih dan resiliensi guna mendukung kesejahteraan psikologis murid dalam menghadapi tuntutan pendidikan vokasional dan dunia kerja. THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SELF-COMPASSION, RESILIENCE, AND PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING AMONG VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN SOUTH JAKARTA ABSTRACT This study aimed to examine the association between self-compassion and resilience and psychological well-being among vocational high school students in South Jakarta. The study was motivated by the substantial academic and vocational demands experienced by vocational students, particularly during workplace learning programs and the transition from school to employment, which may generate psychological strain and undermine psychological well-being in the absence of adequate internal protective factors. A quantitative approach with a multiple correlational design was employed. The sample consisted of 370 vocational high school students in South Jakarta selected based on predetermined research criteria. Data were collected using three standardized instruments: the Psychological Well-Being Scale based on Ryff’s model (PWB-18) to assess psychological well-being as the dependent variable, the Self-Compassion Scale–Youth (SCS-Y) to measure self-compassion, and the Connor–Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) to assess resilience. All instruments demonstrated satisfactory validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear correlation techniques with SPSS version 27. The findings indicated that self-compassion and resilience were jointly and significantly associated with psychological well-being among vocational students, as reflected by a correlation coefficient of R = 0.738 and a coefficient of determination of R² = 0.545 at a significance level of p < 0.001. These results suggest that both variables together accounted for 54.5% of the variance in students’ psychological well-being. Partial analyses further revealed that self-compassion was positively and significantly related to psychological well-being, and resilience likewise demonstrated a positive and significant association. The findings underscore that students who are able to adopt an accepting and kind stance toward themselves while maintaining psychological adaptability tend to exhibit higher levels of psychological well-being. This study highlights important practical implications for school guidance and counseling services, particularly in designing interventions aimed at strengthening self-compassion and resilience to support vocational students’ psychological well-being in the context of vocational education and workforce preparation.
