Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen literasi STEM yang valid dan reliabel untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Literasi STEM merupakan kompetensi esensial abad ke-21 yang mencakup pemahaman dan penerapan konsep sains, teknologi, rekayasa, dan matematika secara terpadu. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate) yang dimodifikasi hingga tahap Develop. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 607 siswa kelas atas SD di DKI Jakarta. lnstrumen awal terdiri dari 40 butir pemyataan yang mencem1inkan delapan dimensi literasi STEM, yaitu: identifikasi masalah, penalaran ilmiah, aplikasi konsep, keterampilan teknologi, berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, pengambilan keputusan, dan kolaborasi. Validitas isi diuji menggunakan Aiken's V, sedangkan validitas konstruk dianalisis dengan Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) dan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CF A). Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh butir memenuhi kriteria valid dan reliabel, dengan nilai faktor loading antara 0,408 hingga 0,830 dan reliabilitas konstruk dalam kategori tinggi. Instrumen akhir terdiri dari 34 butir pemyataan yang teruji secara valid dan reliabel, sehingga layak digunakan untuk mengukur literasi STEM siswa sekolah dasar secara komprehensif dan terstruktur. ********This study aims to develop a valid and reliable STEM literacy instrument for elementary school students. STEM literacy is an essential 21st-century competency that encompasses the integrated understanding and application of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), modified up to the Develop stage. The research subjects consisted of 607 upper-grade elementary students in DKI Jakarta. The initial instrument comprised 40 statement items reflecting eight dimensions of STEM literacy: problem identification, scientific reasoning, concept application, technological skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration. Content validity was tested using Aiken's V, while construct validity was analyzed through Exploratory Factor Analysis (EF A) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CF A). The development results showed that all items met the criteria for validity and reliability, with factor loadings ranging from 0.408 to Q.830 and construct reliability falling into the high category. The final instrument consists of 34 valid and reliable items, making it suitable for comprehensively and systematically measuring elementary students' STEM literacy.
