Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kit praktikum kimia skala kecil berbasis green chemistry pada materi asam-basa yang layak digunakan sebagai media praktikum di SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa kit praktikum yang dilengkapi dengan alat dan bahan praktikum skala kecil, panduan praktikum, LKPD, indikator sintetis dan indikator alami, serta kartu rentang pH. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa kit praktikum memiliki tingkat kelayakan yang sangat baik dengan persentase sebesar 94,38% pada aspek materi dan bahasa, 98,75% pada aspek media, dan 90,83% pada aspek green chemistry. Hasil uji coba kepada peserta didik menunjukkan bahwa kit praktikum dapat digunakan dengan baik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan memperoleh respons positif dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 88,46% yang termasuk kategori sangat layak. Selain itu, penggunaan kit praktikum mampu menghemat penggunaan bahan kimia sebesar 80% pada kegiatan identifikasi asam-basa dan 99% pada kegiatan titrasi asam-basa dibandingkan praktikum di sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kit praktikum kimia skala kecil berbasis green chemistry pada materi asam-basa memiliki tingkat kelayakan yang sangat baik, praktis digunakan, memperoleh respons positif dari peserta didik, serta mampu meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan bahan kimia dan mengurangi limbah praktikum sehingga layak digunakan sebagai alternatif media praktikum dalam pembelajaran kimia di SMA. ***** This study aimed to develop a green chemistry-based small-scale chemistry practicum kit for acid-base materials that is feasible for use as a practicum medium in senior high schools. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The developed product was a practicum kit equipped with small-scale laboratory tools and materials, practicum guidelines, student worksheets, synthetic and natural indicators, and a pH range chart. The validation results indicated that the practicum kit had a very high level of feasibility, with percentages of 94.38% for the material and language aspects, 98.75% for the media aspect, and 90.83% for the green chemistry aspect. The results of the implementation showed that the practicum kit could be used effectively in learning activities and received positive responses from students, with an average percentage of 88.46%, categorized as highly feasible. In addition, the use of the practicum kit reduced chemical consumption by 80% in acid-base identification activities and by 99% in acid-base titration activities compared to conventional laboratory practices. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the green chemistry-based small-scale chemistry practicum kit for acid-base materials has a very high level of feasibility, is practical to use, receives positive responses from students, and improves chemical-use efficiency while reducing laboratory waste. Therefore, it is suitable for use as an alternative practicum medium in chemistry learning at the senior high school level.
