Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya penguatan soft skills teknisi crane pada level pemula yang tidak hanya dituntut memiliki kemampuan teknis, tetapi juga mampu berkomunikasi, bekerja sama, mengenali masalah, dan menyesuaikan diri dengan kondisi kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kebutuhan soft skills berbasis 4C serta merancang perangkat pelatihan bagi teknisi crane Level 1/Technician Class C berdasarkan hasil kajian kebutuhan pelatihan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model 4D yang meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan praktisi industri, studi dokumentasi, kajian standar kompetensi kerja, dan validasi ahli. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa teknisi pemula memerlukan penguatan aspek communication, collaboration, critical thinking, dan creativity. Berdasarkan hasil kajian kebutuhan tersebut, dirancang perangkat pelatihan soft skills berbasis 4C yang terdiri atas empat program pelatihan, yaitu Speak Clearly, Work Safely, Teamwork That Works, Problem Awareness, dan Adapt Fast, Work Smart. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh persentase sebesar 86,4%, sedangkan validasi praktisi industri memperoleh persentase sebesar 84,1%. Kedua hasil tersebut termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Dengan demikian, perangkat pelatihan soft skills berbasis 4C yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan sebagai perangkat pelatihan bagi teknisi crane Level 1/Technician Class C. ***** This study was motivated by the importance of strengthening the soft skills of entrylevel crane technicians, who are required not only to possess technical competence but also to communicate effectively, collaborate with others, identify workplace problems, and adapt to changing work conditions. This study aimed to analyze 4Cbased soft skills needs and to design a training package for Level 1 crane technicians or Technician Class C based on the results of a training needs analysis. The study employed a research and development approach using the Four-D model, which consists of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with industry practitioners, document analysis, a review of occupational competency standards, and expert validation. The needs analysis revealed that entry-level crane technicians require the development of four essential soft skills: communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. Based on these findings, a 4C-based training package was designed, consisting of four training programs: Speak Clearly, Work Safely; Teamwork That Works; Problem Awareness; and Adapt Fast, Work Smart. The material expert validation yielded a feasibility score of 86.4%, while the industry practitioner validation resulted in a feasibility score of 84.1%. Both results were categorized as highly feasible. Therefore, the developed 4C-based training package was considered highly feasible for use in training Level 1 crane technicians or Technician Class C.
