Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan tes formatif Higher Order Thinking (HOT) berbasis permainan Sudoku online pada materi fluida untuk peserta didik SMA serta mengetahui tingkat kelayakannya sebagai media evaluasi dalam pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods dengan metode Research and Development (R&D) serta model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi tahap pendefinisian, desain, pengembangan, dan diseminasi. Tahap diseminasi dilakukan secara terbatas, sedangkan tahap evaluasi berfokus pada evaluasi formatif untuk menyempurnakan kualitas produk yang dikembangkan. Uji kelayakan dilakukan oleh ahli evaluasi, ahli materi, dan ahli media. Uji empiris butir soal meliputi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda. Uji coba lapangan terbatas melibatkan 32 peserta didik kelas XI peminatan fisika dan dua guru fisika untuk memperoleh respons terhadap penggunaan produk. Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukkan persentase sebesar 99% dari ahli evaluasi, 97% dari ahli materi, dan 89% dari ahli media, yang seluruhnya termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”. Sementara itu, respons guru memperoleh persentase sebesar 95% dan respons peserta didik sebesar 91%, yang keduanya termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tes formatif HOT berbasis permainan Sudoku online yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan dan memperoleh respons sangat baik dari guru serta peserta didik dalam evaluasi pembelajaran fisika pada materi fluida. ***** This study aimed to develop a Higher-Order Thinking (HOT) formative test based on an online Sudoku game for fluid topics for senior high school students and to determine its feasibility as an assessment medium in physics learning. The study employed a mixed-methods approach using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D development model, which consists of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The dissemination stage was conducted on a limited scale, while the evaluation focused on formative evaluation to improve the quality of the developed product. The feasibility evaluation was conducted by an assessment expert, a subject matter expert, and a media expert. The empirical evaluation of the test items included validity, reliability, item difficulty, and discrimination index analyses. A limited field trial involved 32 eleventh grade students in the physics specialization program and two physics teachers to obtain their responses to the developed product. The feasibility evaluation results showed percentages of 99% from the assessment expert, 97% from the subject matter expert, and 89% from the media expert, indicating that the product was highly feasible. Meanwhile, teachers and students gave highly positive responses, with percentages of 95% and 91%, respectively. The findings indicate that the developed HOT formative test based on an online Sudoku game is highly feasible for use and received very positive responses from both teachers and students as an assessment medium in physics learning on fluid topics.
